summary: she makes a resoloution.

That first day, she almost forgets.

He's come back to teach Animagus classes (you finished last year with those) and he's there and he's come back and he's there in all his bluehairedbrowneyedh-h-heartbreaker glory and he's here!

He sends a (butterfly sending) grin and a (h-h-heart stammering) wink.

&& she remembers that he's all Victoire's.

The stammer turns into a shatter and the butterflies let go of her stomach.

That night (December 31st/January 1st- was it before or after midnight?) she makes a resoloution.

she doesn't speak to h-h-heartbreakers anymore, especially not ones with bluehair&&browneyes.

She almost forgot that first day.

He was alone, walking the corridors, && she wants to scream at him. She wants to scream and ask and listen and cry allatonce.

Why do you do this to me, Teddy? she wants to ask. Why do you need to break me overandoverandover againandagain?

But then he sends her a (that) wink.

&& she can't help but wonder how many times has he sent that goddamn wink to other girls? To Victoire?

She doesn't falter anymore.

She always was a good actress, but she doesn't think she can pretend (read; lieactorfake) 24/7 anymore.

She just can't.

She's not okay. She's not 'fine'. She's not 'alright'.

She's played parts almost as far away from 'the Real Lucy', but never this far.

She can't be this perky, smart, flirty girl anymore.

She's going to break, she just doesn't know when.

She edits the resoloution on February 14.

She doesn't talk to h-h-heartbreakers with bluehair&browneyes or starryeyes&blondeblondehair.

She doesn't talk to Teddy Lupin or Lorcan Scamander anymore.

They always prefered Victoire&Lily respectively.

After all, who would want Lucy?

She's s.h.a.t.t.e.r.g.l.a.s.s (can't you see the cracks?).

She's h^e^l^d t-o-g-e-t-h-e-r (the word burns now) by only *superglue*.

Teddy was once part of the glue.

(Until he kissed Victoire)

Now he's gonegoneGONE.

The feelings start to seep in.

Lorcan was glue, too.

(Until he swept Lily off her feet and left you all alone.)

You f.a.l.l apart.

(SHA-SHA-SHATTER)

She breaks the resoloution onceandonlyonce. June 23.

It's the night before you go home, 6s6i6x6t6h year.

He's c-h-a-s-i-n-g after her.

"LUCY! LU-U-U-CY? Wait up!"

You keep runnning through Hagrid's new garden labyrinth.

He catches her.

"Lucy!"

He starts to rant, onandonandon.

"I've never done anything to you!"

Her cool&calm demanor s.n.a.p.s

"That's the funniest thing I've heard all night, Lupin." she says bitterly, venemously. "Contrary to your belief, playing someone like a freaking violin counts as something, Teddy." He stares, perplexed, before;

"Luc-"

"I don't want to hear it, Lupin." she snaps. She says a final two words to him.

"Screw you."

That night, she finds those pills, and inbetween each one, she writes a note.

First, to her parents.

Her cousins.

Molly.

Lysander.

Lorcan.

TEDDY.

She never once writes 'I'm sorry'.

Well, they should've figured it out.

She was s.h.a.t.t.e.r.g.l.a.s.s and she'd lost all her *superglue*.

She shattered.

She died that night.

Shattered.
