Author's Note:

Just a short un-rhyming poem I wrote at around 3:26 in the afternoon. Enjoy!

Full of light,

The opposite to his fight.

She walks in beauty,

He walks shrouded in darkness.

He claims that she's strong,

She knows that he lives a lie.

He offers to help her leave,

To be whom she truly is.

She declines his offer,

Knowing if she did, she would never leave.

The lure of running is still strong,

Yet she can't without him.

She returns three years later,

To see him on a path of destruction.

Hurt by his betrayal,

She turns and walks to his arms.

He cradles her close;

Holds her when she cries.

Then on a plane to Tokyo,

She realises, finally, she is complete.

2nd Authors Note:

With the main character as Caroline, the other two in the story/poem are Klaus and Stefan. Now, I don't actually ship Stefan x Caroline, so don't hate on me for including Stefan. So, you readers can use your imaginations to pick who is where (at the start or at the end).

Thanks for reading,

MD.

P.S- Can I say, there is no right or wrong answer, but I will answer any questions about the text. Aww, crap, now I'm sounding like a English teacher and I'm starting to babble, so I better go.

Till' next time!
