Qui-Gon sighed, rubbing his temples in aggrivation. He and his Master, Count Dooku, were sent to settle a dispute between the Rodians and Duros. How this dispute between the two was unknown to him until now, and he felt ready to swipe out his lightsaber and force the two parties to just agree and get over it. It was over ONE little ship with a new guy piloting it, he landed on the wrong bay and suddenly that's reason to wadge war. In all honesty, Qui-Gon was understanding the galaxy less and less...
"You should have told him which bay to dock!" The Rodiant Senator snapped, large eyes glaring.
"Well you should have cleared him on where to land when he entered your atmosphere!" The Duro Senator pointed out loudly.
Qui-Gon looked to Count Dooku, thinking his Master would shout over the two and tell them that the arguement was pointless. To his surprise, Dooku didn't shout. He spoke rather calmly. "Now does this arguement truely have any importance behind it?"
Both senators wiped their glares to Dooku immediantly, but the man didn't faulter nor take back his words. Qui-Gon, however, slowly was sinking in his chair (like any nervous sixteen year old would do).
"I do recommend you say your next words wisely." Dooku stated as he stared down the two, and if looks would kill then those two would be dead by now.
The Rodian swallowed. "I- I suppose that we could have told your pilot where the proper landing zone was."
"An- and I guess that my more experienced pilots should have told him, or one of them should have gone instead." The Duro nodded.
Qui-Gon blinked in amazement at this turn of events, he had seen Dooku do this before, but it never lost it's effectiveness whenever he did so. He would have to learn this sometime.
And there you have it, Dooku can make anyone agree by glaring at them until they crap bricks and agree. I learned this in a book called "The Jedi Path". It has constaint sidenotes made by Jedi and Sidious and Dooku. One of which was in a section on negotiators. Qui-Gon wrote "Sometimes Master Dooku just stares down the negotiators. It usually works." I loled so much and had to write this!
