They used to be so close. Until she left. They said she was tortured, they said she might have panic attacks, they said she might hallucinate.

But nobody believed the doctors.

She was strong, and she will stay strong. No one saw her break down except for him.

They used to be so close and now they are healing.

He treads lightly around her as if she was stained glass, beautiful but fragile. It's clear she doesn't want to be treated like that but if she was treated like she used to be she will break.

On the nights that she wakes up screaming he will be there in an instant ready to comfort her.

He is ready to pry her fists apart and wipe up the blood that the nails have made from cutting her palms. He stays with her because although she has 3 other girls in the room with her the boy is the only one who can pry her from her dreams of torture and things forgotten.

Because he is the only one who can even imagine what had happened to her.

Although she has changed she is still the best if not better from her experience. She can blend into the back ground anywhere and only he can pick her out. Sometimes, only rarely, she gets lost in her head and she will think she is on her summer mission and gets paranoid.

For that reason she is never alone. He is always on hand to drag her out of her memories. He loves her so much, but he is worried, what happens when he is on a mission and she gets lost. He can't go help her. Their only hope is for her to get better, for her mind to heal just a little bit more.

In the end they are all healing. The boy trying to help her heal and healing himself as well. And everyone else helping the boy heal her while they heal each other.

In the end he is the only one who can fully heal her and he was the only one who ever could.
