So, I have started playing Elsword, and I'm obsessed. Whenever I have free time, I am going to write something from somewhere else, or a new chapter in a new perspective of the characters in Elsword. Also please keep mean comments to a minimum, try and have some constructive criticism. Thanks and I hope you enjoy my version of the game Elsword.
"Ugh"
I stick the point of my sword in the grass, and plop down to the ground. I lean back with my arms under my head as a makeshift pillow. I close my eyes. The slight orange haze of the sun still shows through my eyelids. What felt like a few seconds later, I open my eyes to a young face stare down at me. I manage my smile despite my slight annoyance. He should know better than anyone else that I like my privacy.
"So… you're awake." Elsword doesn't look into my eyes when he says it, something's up.
I sit up and force his brown eyes into mine.
"What did you do?" I question my little brother, holding his gaze.
He looks away, and I pull his head back forward.
"What did you do?" I repeat.
"I…"
"Yes?"
"I-I kinda broke something." He looks scared.
"Well, what did you break?"
"Your sword." He mumbles it, trying to make it unheard. But I hear it loud and clear.
"YOU WHAT!" My face reddens with anger.
He looks like he's about to burst into tears, but I know he won't. He's Elsword.
"I-It was an accident. While you were sleeping, it was all dirty so I tried to clean it, but we didn't have any cloth, so I tried to sharpen it with a rock like I've seen at the blacksmiths and then… this."
He walks over to a nearby bush and pulls out what used to be my claymore. The red brass metal is severely scratched and the black leather handle is split clean off from the actual blade. I try to calm myself as not to frighten Elsword anymore, but my anger boils over.
"ELSWORD!"
"Y-yeah." He says is meekly.
"We are going to go back to the village, and YOU are going to use YOUR money to buy a new sword. Do you understand?"
He stays silent.
"Do you understand?"
"Yes Elesis, I do understand."
"OK then, grab our supplies and let's get going."
I stand up, and brush the wrinkles out of my skirt. I pick up the leather backpack, and begin the journey back to Elder Village.
