They sat in the loft's kitchen. David turned to Snow.
"So, Rumplestiltskin is Henry's grandfather." David pondered.
"Apparently." Snow replied.
"But I'm his grandfather." David interjected.
"You can have more than one. I technically had three if you count Henry Sr. He tried to help Regina redeem herself before she got in too deep, and he protected me on several occasions. Cora on the other hand was not Grandma material. But the vendetta against my mother for something so stupid and childish probably had something to do with it." She explained.
" Let me get this straight. So his step-grandmother is the Evil Queen?" He asked.
"Actually his step-great-grandmother. And she's also his adoptive mother."
"It's a good thing we don't have Thanksgiving in our land, 'cause that dinner would suck." David observed.
"Believe me, being his grandma and step adopted big sister is very weird. Maybe it would mellow everybody out, but come to think of it, we did actually had a harvest festival." Snow replied. "The concept was the same, but we focused more on helping the peasants save up for winter. When my parents were alive, we invited the entire kingdom to the palace for a meal and warm winter clothes. Sadly, the tradition died with Father; I planned to reinstate it, but we never had the chance."
"I can see your realm doing that; mine on the other hand was not so kind. George ruled with an iron fist, and that came over with Spencer. But enough of those memories; we've got work to do. "
