A/N: Yes, yes I wrote fluffy Pearlmethyst about tea bags. I have no regrets.

At first, Amethyst just took the tea bags. Pearl couldn't stand being around her without putting her down, so she just took them without asking as soon as Pearl was done, and sometimes before that.

Once, she ate all the tea bags in the house just so that Pearl wouldn't have anything to make tea out of. Just out of spit. When Pearl found out that there was no tea she had broke down crying, and Amethyst, who had been looking at her from behind the sofa, for the first time felt regret for something she did.

She hadn't know the tea was that essential to Pearl. For her, it was just some random beverage, but for Pearl, it was a way of coping.

Next, Amethyst started asking when she wanted the tea bags. Whether they were used or not, Amethyst would respectfully ask if she could eat them, and since Pearl had slowly started warming up to her, it worked well. She asked, and assuming Pearl was in a good mood, she would give them to her.

Even if Pearl didn't want to give them to her, Amethyst never forcefully took them anymore.

At last, Pearl started giving them to her on her own, without Amethyst even asking her anymore. And it meant the world to her. It meant the world to her that she could see Pearl smiling every time she finished her tea, throwing the bag over her shoulder and counting on Amethyst to eat it. It meant the world to her that she bothered to remember all these silly things she liked to eat.

It meant the world to her, that Pearl cared about her, and that though it had started with tea bags, it ended with love.
