It was another normal Barnyard day... Pip was jumping all over Otis, and Otis was annoyed. Pip bounced on the cow's deflated belly, "When are you gonna make milk dude?" Pip wanted cheese from his bovine friend... "I'm not ready yet Otis said I need time to produce milk!" "Fine, but I still want some for cheddar!" Pip said...

Suddenly a woman left a baby at the entrance to the farm. Otis with Pip on his head and Freddy and Peck came to take a closer look. There was a note:

Hi, Can you take care of Joey for just a day? I have to run errands... Thank you!

There was also a list...

Things to do:

Wash

Play

Nap

Entertain

Feed

"I guess we have to do this." Peck said...

The animals went to bathe Joey. After he was clean, they looked at the list. "Play" "what do we do?" Duke found a ball and had Joey chase it. After a while, Joey got tired.

It was nap time. Joey fell asleep on a hay bale and Pig tucked him in. All the animals fell asleep as well.

After they woke up, they checked the list. "Entertain".

"I could see if he's edible". Freddy offered. "I've never tasted baby before!"

"I could play ball again." Duke said. Otis said "Enough! How about I just give him a ride around the Barnyard? Ok?" The animals agreed... So Otis got down on four legs while Joey sat on his back, and they rode around the farm. They passed the silo and the barn, and Otis let Joey pet one of the sheep. After Otis was tired, he brought him back to the other animals.

Feed" the last thing to do.

"What are we gonna feed him?" Peck asked...

"We can get corn!" Pig replied.

"Joey won't like corn! He doesn't even have teeth to chew it!" Pip shouted.

"Babies do like milk," said Peck.

"Where are we gonna get that?" Freddy asked.

The animals all turned to Otis.

"What? Just because I'm a cow I have to feed the baby?!"

"Uh... Yeah dude" Pip said.

It was true, Otis was the only cow on the farm. Abby and Bessy were away on vacation. Otis was mortified "Fine, but I have to eat something first!"

He went to the field and chowed down on some grass. Soon, his udder started to inflate with milk. Joey clapped. Then he got down on four legs and Joey crawled over to the cow's large belly to start suckling.

"Hey! Save some for me kid!" Pip still wanted his cheese.

Otis was so embarrassed. His friends were watching him being milked and they were laughing. Joey even bit down on his udder with his small baby teeth, and Otis winced. The animals all took a turn milking Otis. Finally Joey was full. The animals put him in the box and left him back on the curb. Before Otis left, he gave Joey a small kiss on the cheek.

The animals were tired from babysitting, and Pip wanted his cheese. He made Otis go on to four legs again and climbed onto an udder and squeezed it into a bucket by biting it with his buck teeth.

Otis yelped, "Sweet cud! That hurts..."

When the cheese was finished Pip ate some and Otis had a taste as well.

"Yum Otis this is really good!" Pip said.

"I know, but it's weird eating something that came out of my body..." Otis rubbed his udder.
