Prologue

I silently crept into the house, my hands tightly gripping the walls. I was woozy, dizzy almost with the anticipation of what I was going to do. What I was about to become. The floor creaked as I trod cautiously towards the one thing I was here for. I tip-toed through an open door and quickly shut it closed behind me. It was so close, so close, enticing me towards it unwillingly. A mirror hung on a wall, glittering from the late setting sun. I fluidly walked towards it and broke it with one smash of my fisted hand. "Rob? Rob, is that you?" a high-pitched voice called out. Stupid, stupid… I thought maliciously. Too loud! I quickly grabbed a shard of glass from the ground and turned it over in my hands. I swore that I saw her face in it, her lovely, beautiful face… "Rob?" I heard footsteps padding softly on a carpet. Gotta get it done, I thought. I crouched on the fluffy carpet, gathering up all the glass pieces and shoving them in my bag roughly. The door gradually opened, and I tensed, ready. "Rob, you in here?" the lady murmured. I slinked towards her, trying to mask my heavy breathing. "Hello…" the woman trailed off. This is for you, Mel, I thought joyfully, This is your death being avenged. I slowly stood up, still clutching the glass shard. "Who are…? Oh my god!" the lady whispered fearfully. In a flash I advanced on her, slitting her throat with the glass shard in my hand. She gave one little gurgle and collapsed onto the ground. Blood flowed like a river down her body, seeping over the floor. My hands were coated in rose-red. Who thought that it would ever come to this?

Really short... But if you review it, I could get the next chapter up soon?
