Small feet ran through the hallway as a small boy about the age of 3 ran with tears running down his face. Thunder cracked, as Matthew covered his ears, he was deadly afraid of thunder and lighting, it scared him more then any monsters under his bed. He met a large wooden door with leaves engraved on the sides he tip-toed to grab the door knob and turned it.
There lied a French man sleeping, snoring quietly Matthew walked slowly towards Francis, trying his best to make any noise at all. Matthew lightly shook Francis's right hand. "P-papa?" asked Matthew. "huh?" said Francis as he looked around to see Matthew sitting on the floor next to him "Matthew what are you doing up at a time like this?" asked Francis as another thunder cracked "Nng!" yelled Matthew as he covered his ears, hoping to drown out the crackle. Matthew broke down crying as another crackle came.
Francis noticed this "Matthew. Are you scared of the thunder and lighting?" asked Francis. Matthew nodded his head while still covering his ears Smiling, Francis picked up Matthew and held him close. "Don't worry Matthew, I'm here, nothing will happen." said Francis reassuringly to the boy. Francis cleared his throat and began to sing.
" Little Matthew, Please don't fear, Papa's always right here with you, No one is never going to hurt you, Little Matthew, close your eyes, everything will be just fine, Little Matthew, just wait, in the morning, everything will be okay." Matthew felt his eyes grow heavy as Francis sang to him. "T-thank you Papa." said Matthew quietly as he fell asleep. Francis wiped away Matthew's tears and kissed him good night before laying him down next to him and falling asleep.
Francis woke up to Matthew shaking him up. "Papa! Papa! It's Snowing!" said Matthew very excitedly "Well if you want to go outside get ready." said Francis stretching Matthew's eyes lighten up. "Thank you Papa!" yelled Matthew as he ran back to his room to get ready. Francis smiled to himself
Looking out the window seeing each small snowflake fall lightly to the ground below. "Everything's fine in the morning." he said to himself
"But…You'll still be here…in the morning."
This is so horrible. (T.T)
I'm Sorry!
