A/N: Well this is my first fanfiction. It might be a little rough, but just stick with me. There's always room to improve, I can get better.
It grew so fast, spread so quickly, burned so brightly. I ran as fast as I could. Where are they? They were here somewhere. They had to be.
And then I found them. Burned black to a crisp. And I cried. But I dare not touch them. They were alive, they had to be. They couldn't leave me.
The fire was spreading. But I couldn't move them. I was too weak, and they too heavy. But I can't leave them. The flame got too close. I had no choice but to leave them, tears streaming down my face.
I ran for the door, it was covered in flames. It was closing in on me. I had no other choice, I quickly grabbed the handle. Twisting with one hand and pushing with the other. It burned. I felt my skin sizzle as I yelped in pain.
The door opened and I ran. A man grabbed my arm a few yards from my house, I was twisted around abruptly. Panicking, I tried to pull away. I looked up and saw his face, and resisted the urge to vomit.
A mixture of skin and blood created a pinkish drizzle with streaks of gushing crimson. It drizzled down his face slowly, drying as it went, revealing tissue and bone ment to be covered. It was one of the most horrifying things I've ever seen, yet one of the saddest. His lips- or what's left of them- mouth two trembling words.
"Help… me…."
Then it all went black as reality came flooding in.
A/N: Short chapter, I know. But I will continue this story, unless it gets no reviews or acknowledgement, then I don't know. Maybe. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed. (Don't mind the jumble of commas, I just like using them)
