Ren's P.O.V.
Sometimes I wish I was Tawny. She gets along with Luis so well. Why can't I? How can she not get annoyed at all the irritating stuff that he puts people though? Yeah, he means well-- sometimes, but his general stupidity never bothers her; no matter how dumb he's acting. I admire her for her patience and understanding. Maybe she handles him so much better than I do, because she's not his sister. When she wants to get away from him, she can just go home.
I know it's wrong to say this, but sometimes I wish I were an only child, just like her. It would be great. I could just imagine how Tawny's life is at home. She's got nobody to barge into her room, there's nobody for her fight with, nobody to get her things dirty, to play pranks on her, unplug her alarm clock, set her things on fire, unorganized her books, embarrass her when she have company and she gets all the attention from her parents.
Tawny's P.O.V.
Ren Stevens. Now that's a girl who's going places. Just look at her straight As and perfect attendance records; you can tell that she's gonna have a great life and she's gonna get out of this stinkin' town. Don't mind me, I'm just in a bitter ranting mood.
It's not like I'm not happy with my own life, it's just... sometimes I wonder what it would be like if I were Ren. I mean, she's got her whole career planned out, while I have no idea about my future. And then she's got that huge family. A mom and dad that's always around... two brothers... It must be great. She complains about how she fights with Luis all the time, but at least she has somebody to fight with. I know that deep down inside she really loves him. I wonder what it's like to have siblings that would be there for you in a sec, if you really needed them. She may get irritated by her family, but at least she's never alone.
