So, a short oneshot for you guys because I couldn't fall asleep.

This might be slightly random, as my brain functions rather interestingly at 2 o'clock in the morning.

"Now, it's time to go to bed." Kuon said, enforcing his statement that had been lost on the three snuggling on the couch.

"Awww, but we were getting to the good part of Okaa-chan's movie! Please, just until the end!" His daughter begged.

He struggled with the smile threatening to make an appearance.

"It's past your bedtime."

Three pairs of puppy dog eyes turned towards him. Overwhelmed, he caved in at the exponential increase in cute.

"Fine. But after, straight to bed." Amid the cheers, he sat down next to his beautiful wife, who nestled herself into his warm embrace. His arm went around her growing belly, only to be met with a kick from the new addition inside there.

Chuckling, he said, "Is he going to be a soccer player?"

His wife turned her head up towards him, and said, "That, and acting. He's constantly mimicking you when you speak."

"Is he, now?" He took advantage of her upturned face, and kissed her lightly on the lips. She colored immediately, a lovely pink color, which always made his heart warm when he saw it.

The movie concluded, but the bedtime was still strongly objected.

Apparently, even his wife needed a bedtime story.

In order to satisify the wishes of his wife and daughter, he told Sleeping Beauty, which included a bit of dragon fighting for his son.

Golden and blue eyes shone with each appealing development, gasped at the needle putting the princess into a deep sleep, and at the kissing scene when the prince woke the princess up, his wife and daughter went into romantic fantasyland while his son was thoroughly disgusted by the notion.

By the end, they had concentrated themselves enough to fall asleep. After carrying his daughter and son to bed, he princess carried his wife to their bed.

Gently laying her down, he brushed a few strands of her midnight black tresses out of her face, and then gently kissed her forehead.

"Goodnight, my dear Kyoko. I love you."

His response was mumbled, but he could still make it out.

"I love you more, Corn."

When I was little, the Sleeping Beauty Disney princess was my favorite thing. I have the movie completely memorized.

That was so unmotivated and awful, but I think I'll be able to sleep now! XD
