Sabrina Grimm sat staring out her window. It was summer. It was warm. It was sunny. It was perfect. Yet she was stuck inside with the flu.
"This sucks." She said to the younger Grimm girl next to her.
"It's not so bad... At least Granny made you normal food since you're sick." Daphne replied.
"I guess you're right. Can you leave though? I want to try getting some sleep." Sabrina said.
"Okey dokey! Good night, sleep tight, don't let Puck let the pixies bite!" Daphne said then left.
Sabrina tried falling asleep as she said she would but just couldn't. After hours of tossing and turning without reward, she decided to get a drink. She slowly sat up trying to avoid head rush. Once she stood, her strength failed her and she fell. Expecting to hit the floor she closed her eyes. She was surprised when instead she fell into a pair of strong arms. She opened her eyes to see a certain fairy boy smirking at her.
"Where do you think you're going?" Puck asked her.
"To get a drink of water. Now let me go so I can do what I got up for." She replied.
"No. You are going to stay here. I'll get your water." He said.
"Since when did you care so much fairy boy?" Sabrina asked.
"I've always cared." He said his smirk fading for a moment, then returning when he said, "Besides, if I don't constantly keep you safe the Old Lady will kick me out and I won't get anymore free food!"
When he returned with her water and she took a drink, he hesitated then kissed her. He was about to leave when Sabrina stopped him.
"Wait, I love you fairy boy." She said hardly believing that she did.
Confusion passed over his face, then, smiling a genuine smile replied, "I love you too Grimm. Sleep well." Then he left.
She smiled to herself, closed her eyes, then fell asleep.
