Spring starting and no more winter? Au contraire, little groundhog. It is the first time in over ten years that our school has had to shut down for two days because of freezing weather. Trust me, it's still winter.

To all our Austrailian friends-I hope you all were far away from that storm! It looked pretty nasty!

It was the eyes that got her.

Those dark blue eyes that always had a glimmer of mischief in them. The ones that had made many a girl swoon. The beautiful eyes.

They were deep, reminding her of the water's depths that she was so afraid of. Deep and dangerous. She lost herself when she looked in them, began to drown in that sea of blue.

He may have always bragged about his shallowness, but his eyes betrayed him. There was so much written in them, so much revealed. She had fallen in love with the eyes when she first saw them and love for the person soon followed.

The Witch sat perched in the high branches of a tree, watching the flickering faces of the small party below. Boq sat with a scowl on his face and axe in hand, guarding the group from animals, monkeys and Witches alike.

Nearer to the fire, the Lion lay curled up, sucking on his thumb childlike, Dorothy sat next to him, stroking the soft mane absentmindedly as she stared into the flames.

Very far from the fire, almost a few trees in, sat a ragdoll of a creature, watching the trees next to were the Witch sat. He was made entirely out of cloth and hay, wearing a peculiar hat that rivaled her own. The rage he wore seemed strangely familiar, almost like...

She gasped and almost fell out of her tree. The Scarecrow's eyes swung to meet hers and the world stood still.

It was Fiyero's beautiful blue eyes peering up at her.
