The end of TSFS; set to the tune of Green Fields of France. Wrote this a long time ago in math class.
As usual, comments/critique/flames are greatly appreciated.
Star Trek and anything related to Star Trek does not belong to me.
Oh, God, my friends, oh what have I done?
See how she burns in the light of the sun.
How nobly and proudly she taught us to fly;
Now nobly and bravely she'll teach us how to die.
You say it was done as a last chance to fight,
But, God help me, Bones, I wish I weren't alive.
I abandoned my ship, I abandoned my wife,
I abandoned my home, I abandoned my life.
See her hull burning brightly,
She turns ever so slightly.
Never once did I think I would be her demise.
Far over the horizon now she flies-
My dearest love, my Enterprise.
