A/N: This isn't really a spoiler warning but it is about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but unless you've read the book you won't understand the connotations. It can also just be read as a poem for grief.

Rememberance

Let's say goodbye to the companions we've lost,

Lost on the long winding road,

Remember their fames and call out their names

To their title, hero bestowed.

Say farewell to their face at the end of day,

To the smile we knew meant home,

Let their bodies lie still and their souls do their will,

And their offspring be left free to roam.

Remember the one, who was full of life,

In a world which looked too dark to see,

Let her find rest, in the sleep of those past,

And let her sit once more at her father's knee.

Think once of the man who gave more than most,

For a love which was not returned,

Let us all learn, that love should be free,

Not something that we've earned.

Bear in mind those who have passed with guilt on their mind,

For an action, they could not right.

Let them find peace with a merciful one,

And their star too, will shine just as bright.

Remember these ones, the unfortunate few,

Who do not get to reap what we've sown.

But let history tell, an epic story ended well,

And let them see all from a heavenly throne.
