This is my first Narnian fanfiction, a small one-shot. I hope you like it, enjoy!

"Peter, do you ever miss England?"

The sound of his little sister's voice snapped Peter out of his thoughts. They both were sitting in a parlor in Cair Paravel enjoying some tea and each other's company. Lucy's question voiced some of his thoughts over the past week.

"You are thinking of mother, aren't you." He said knowingly. Lucy nodded and then sipped some more of her tea.

Peter sighed. "I do miss England and mother. I often wish she were here."

"Same with me." Lucy said sadly. Her face showed she was thinking hard "But I don't regret coming to Narnia. Never." She said finally.

"I don't think any of us regret it. What would be nice would be at we could switch back and forth between worlds when ever we wanted to." Peter said with a smile.

"Oh yes! Then we could still be with the Beavers and Mr. Tumnus but we could visit mother." She exclaimed. But then she furrowed her brows and looked at her lap. "But then it would be awfully confusing, constantly switching back and forth between worlds." She said.

Peter thought about that. "That would be true I suppose. But we don't have to worry about that."

The siblings sat in silence for a few more minutes, sipping their tea.

"Do you think it's bad to miss England? Or even worse not to miss it?" Lucy asked she asked with a frown on her face.

"Oh Lu, I don't think it's bad either way. There is no war going on in Narnia currently, but in England we would still be at the Professor's house. I personally don't want to have to deal with Mrs. Macready's fussing." He said with a slight laugh. "Though, I guess we traded her for Mr. Beaver." He said jokingly.

"Peter!" Lucy said in mock exasperation. "You know everyone knows about the whole turning Mr. Beaver into a hat comment." She said while laughing.

Peter groaned. "Don't remind me. That beaver doesn't know how to stop talking." He sat forwards towards Lucy as he started to grin. "I'm sure you don't miss school."

"I do not miss it one bit." She said, trying to be serious but failing. "I'm sure Susan misses it though. She was always the one who wanted to learn fancy words and stuff like that. And we have tutors here! They are just more fun Han the teachers in at home" She said.

"True, true." Peter said.

Lucy then looked sad again. Peter frowned as he watched his sister. "What's wrong Lu?"

"Is this our home, or is England home? I don't know, it's so confusing." She said glumly. Peter stood up and sat next to her on the couch she was sitting on. He pulled his little sister to him in a side hug.

"How about we call both places home? We are all together. And you never know, we might come back to England one day. One day." He said comfortingly.

Lucy looked up into her brother's face. He smiled reassuring for her.

Lucy nodded, "I guess that will help."

"Good." Peter said simply. Then he stood up and offered a hand to Lucy. "Come on, let's go find Susan and Edmond. I do believe they were at the training grounds." He said.

Lucy accepted his hand and let him pull her up. The siblings then walked out the door together. They both felt a bit comforted by their conversation.

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed this one-shot. I simply love the Pevensies and randomly came up with this scene.

I would love some feedback so please tell me if you like it. Constructive criticism is great too if you feel the need. Please review and tell me what you thought!

Also, just mentioning, I have a LOTR/Hobbit crossover with Narnia fanfiction that I'm working on. Please check it out if you want. :)

Thank you so much for reading,
