As they walked together in silence, Tamaki stopped in his tracks and looked down at the floor.

"Senpai?" Haruhi asked. "Are you okay? Whats wrong?"

"Nothing is wrong." he smiled, looking up at her. "I think we should talk about taking the next step."

Haruhi stumbled backwards, confused. "What?"

"What are we going to do when High School is over? What about when we finish College? Do we have a future together?" He asked quietly.

Haruhi was shocked. "You mean… you want to?"

"I want to start talking about mariage, Haruhi. i want to talk about us."

Haruhi dropped the small purse she had in her hands in shock. "T-Tamaki… I don't… I…"

"You don't what?" Tamaki asked.

"I don't want to get married, Tamaki." She said simply, guilt in her eyes. "I like being with you, but… we're in High School. There's still so much i want to do in my life."

"But…" Tamaki said quietly, a tear falling down his cheek. "I love you…"

"I love you too, I really do, its just-"

"If you love me, then why don't you want to be with me?!" Tamaki asked, tears now running down his face.

"I'm sorry, Senpai-"

"Don't call me that." Tamaki said angrily.

"Tamaki. I'm sorry but-"

"BUT WHAT?! WHY DON'T YOU WANT TO BE WITH ME?!"

"BECAUSE WE'RE JUST KIDS." Haruhi screamed. "We're just kids, Tamaki."

Tamaki fell to his knees, cold tears streaming down his face. Haruhi bent down to pick up the purse she had dropped and started to walk back to her house.

"Haruhi?"

She turned around. "Yes?"

"Would you ever consider marrying me?"

"Tamaki…No. I'm sorry." She said and looked at him with sympathy. Tamaki's heart dropped, as he held his head in his hands and cried."Goodbye, Senpai." she said as she turned around and started walking home.

Tamaki shook as he sat on the cold pavement, crying. "But I love you" he whispered, but there was no longer anyone there to hear him.
