We're gonna get right into it! This is picking up right after Aftermath Part one so if you haven't read it yet, you might want to, otherwise sit back, read, review and love.

On with the show.

Chapter 1: Guilt

Yellow sparks shot from a large crack along Cyborgs right arm, causing a jerking motion that made him swerve the T-Car. "Freaking Overload." He grumbled.

"I told you to let me drive." Robin sat in the passenger seat with his arm hanging loosely by his side, clearly dislocated, while his face was sitting on his fist as he leaned against the door.

Cyborgs armor sparked again. "You are not driving my baby with that bad arm."

"Why not let me drive?"

Cyborg rolled his eyes to the whining voice that sat in the back seat. "You will never drive my baby, especially covered in Plasmus snot."

Beast Boy pouted picking more goop off of himself and tossing it out the window before moaning. "A little pity wouldn't hurt."

"I to am wondering where the pitying is." Starfire picked some Plasmus slime and tossed it out Beat Boys window.

"Just be lucky Cinderblock wasn't in the fray." Robin commented, "Overload and Plasmus are tough enough." Robin's face twisted from a frown to a full on scowl as he addressed the final passenger. "Next time Rose, you need to follow orders."

Rose Wilson, held an ice pack to her right eye. "If I had you would be dead."

"You almost let Overload get away and we had to chance him down."

"Rob chill out-"

"-Can it Beast Boy." Rose snapped, "I don't need you coming to my rescue."

The car ride went silent except for the occasional spark of Cyborgs damaged armor until a screen in the dashboard began flashing. "What's is that?" Robin asked.

Cyborg began pressing a few buttons as a grin spread across his face. "We have guests coming to the tower. It's M'gann." He presses a few more buttons, activating a speaker function in the T-Car. "This is Cyborg."

"Cyborg. It's M'gann, requesting permission to land."

"No worries. Go ahead and park it right on top of the tower. How many do you have with you?"

"Six of us. Superboy, myself, Robin, Batgirl, and, uh, . . ." She went silent as if someone was speaking to her before speaking again, "Um, two others. But he said if I tell you his name you won't let him inside."

"Uh," Cyborg looked to Robin who shrugged.

"Come on in M'gann, I'd like to see Tim and Cassandra."

She exhaled with relief, "Okay. We'll see you when you get here."

"We can see you from here." Sure enough with the tower coming into view was Titans Tower, with the Martian ship landing on the roof.

"Your fine with your old team bringing strangers into the tower?" Rose asked.

Robin shrugged. "Their not idiots." That was all he said before returning to his colder demeanor towards his newest teammate. She scoffed a "whatever" before returning to icing her aching head.

The Titans didn't have time to get cleaned up once they got back to the tower. Cyborg helped pop Robins arm back into place while Beast Boy and Starfire worked to get as much of the Plasmus goop off of themselves. Cyborg's armor and Rose's injuries would have to wait, right now they had to meet their guests.

The Titans stepped into the common room where they were greeted by the Covert ops Team of the Justice League.

"Hey Dick." Tim Drake was the first to approach, taking his friend by the hand.

"Good to see ya Tim." They embraces each other in a classic "bro hug".

"When you get so tall?" Stepping back Tim had to look up to see him clearly. "And broader?"

Sure enough, even though he worse the same traffic light colored uniform, his chest was broader along with his newfound height. "Lots and lots of training I guess."

Tim shrugged, "Not surprising."

Robin looked past him to the young woman with the short black hair and dark eyes. Eyes that were quickly looking him over. "This must be Cassandra," He had heard of her and her ability to read people so he approached cautiously with a hand out, "Dick Grayson."

She looked from his eyes to his hand before taking it. "Heard much about you."

He laughed, "Good things I hope?"

She shrugged one shoulder with a smirk. "No."

Meanwhile the others were meeting with M'gann and Conner all except for Rose who wasn't feeling like being social and ducked out leaving Beast Boy, Starfire and Cyborg.

"Superboy," Cyborg patted the half kryptonian on the shoulder, "Heard you were the tank of the group. Makes two of us."

Conner chuckled. "Proud of it. You alright?" He looked him over noticing the damage.

He waved him off. "Nothing I can't handle. I'm starving you hungry?"

"Whatcha got?"

Cyborg led him into the kitchen, "Do you like tofu?"

"Good god no."

Cyborg put his hand in over his shoulders. "Beautiful."

"My goodness," Starfire swooned, "Friend Beast Boy look. She makes green look lovely too."

The two green teens smiled while going slightly red, "Why thank you." Said M'gann. "Although I don't have cute pointy ears."

"Ah HA I told ya chicks dig the ears!" The jab was clearly aimed at Cyborg who was too busy stuffing his face. Beast Boy shuddered before turning back to M'gann.

"Your a shapeshifter too correct?" M'gann asked.

He let his chest puff out a bit. "Yup. Any animal you can think of. They don't call me 'Beast Boy' for nothing. And I don't mean to brag but I've also known to change into Aliens, demons and a few angelic animals as well."

Sure he was boasting, but M'gann found herself genuinely interested. "Wow! Have you tried changing into people?"

Beast Boy slightly deflated. "I, uh, can't, uh, I don't know I've never tried."

M'gann shrugged a shoulder, "Never know unless you try."

Robin stepped away from Tim and surveyed the common room. "I thought you said there were two more with you?"

Tim shuffled his shoulders, "He needed to head to your medical bay real fast."

Dick narrowed his eyes in confusion. "Tim who did you bring here?"

"Someone who needs help with your medical crap." No one heard the common room doors hiss open or noticed the young man with the crystal dangling around his neck.

Drake Daniels descended the stairs into a silent common room with all eyes on him. He motioned to the doors, "I, uh, passed rose on the way over, but she doesn't know much about the medical stuff. Cyborg can you, uh-OOF!"

A giant metal hand slammed into his back. "Man what happened to you? I lost my meat eaten buddy. I had to go back to mister 'tofu' here."

Beast Boy scoffed, "I'm just glad one less 'animal murderer' in the house. Good to see ya Drake." The changeling gave him a soft pat on his shoulder, knowing he couldn't match Cyborgs strength.

Last to approach was Robin who wore a lopsided somewhat amused grin on his face. "I guess I have some explaining to do huh?"

The Boy Wonder furrowed his brow. "Why? It's not like you were made an official member or anything?"

Drake shrugged, "Doesn't give me permission to just leave after all you guys did for me."

Robins grin grew, this time in admiration. "Well, I am curious as to how you met with these guys." He motioned to Tim and his team, "but you said you needed help in the med bay."

"Right," Drake made his way to the door which upon opening allowed the group to head to the medical wing. "Hey Star." Starfire caught Drake's eye for a moment before her nose went into the air with a "hmph" and she continued on, leaving behind a very confused Dragon Knight.

"Alright who does Cyborg need to rescue?" He bellowed and clapped his hands looking for his newest patient. His question was answered quickly when he saw the young girl in the blue dress and brown hair lying unconscious on one of the beds.

"Drake whose this?" Robin asked.

Drake approached the bed silently. His hand grazing the top of hers. "Guys. This is Jacqueline. My, uh, my daughter."

Eyes fell to the size of dinner plates from the Titans. "But you were only gone six months? I'm pretty sure it doesn't work like that" Beast Boy commented.

Drake sighed, but it would be a cold day in hell before he admitted out loud that he actually missed Beast Boy and his idiocy. "It's a long and ugly story. Right now I need Cy to hook her up and Raven to hook me up with ingredients to a spell."

Silence fell again, this time accompanied with a thick tension that fell on everyone's shoulders, but from none more so then Beast Boy. Not two second ago he was the jokester he found endearing, now anger and resentment filled his eyes as they fell downcast. Cyborg awkwardly went about fiddling with the machines as Robin avoided eye contact with Starfire whose eyes were painted onto his back with a hint of malice.

"Guys, where's Raven?"

Four months ago

"Thank you Teen Titans!"

"Your our heroes!"

"You guys are awesome!"

"Kick the bad guys butts!"

The praises being sung by the civilians of Jump City echoed in the halls of the tower long after Trigon was beaten back. But one such resident of the tower couldn't or wouldn't hear the jubilation. Instead all she heard were the sounds of screams cutting through to her very core, the smell of blood mixing with asphalt and metal, the sight of pure unbridled fear ripping through the city.

And it was all her fault. She allowed Trigon into this world, not once, but twice. She allowed her brothers to spread so much pain and fear, she let it all happen. Of course the people of the city she protected didn't know this, but it didn't matter. She knew.

And it was slowly eating away at her.

She stood outside the office of her team leader, her pale knuckles inches from the metal that separated them. She lost track of how long she stood there, but her feet began aching from the hard floor where she stood. With a long exhale she knocked, and waited.

She jumped when the door hissed open revealing her smiling team leader. "Hey Raven. How are you doing?"

She tried. She really tried to meet his sincere smile head on, but it quickly fell into a tremble of her lower lip accompanied with her eyes beginning to water. "I . . . I'm sorry." She choked out and fell into his arms sobbing.

His smile fell and his hand began patting the back of her head smoothing her silken violet hair. "I know." He helped her into his office and guided her into his chair. Really he knew this was coming, but he hoped it wouldn't.

Raven cried into her hands for a moment longer. "I ca-I can't do this anymore Robin."

"Raven listen to me," Robin knelt down in front of her his hands taking hers so that her tear filled eyes would have to meet his, "We. Will. Get through this."

She shook her head taking her hands back. "No. It's been two months and I-I can't just forget about what I did. All the people who died because of me. I can't keep acting like everything's okay."

"We'll think of something. Maybe a councilor or something? Maybe you just need to talk?"

She scoffed. "Right. 'Hey I ended the world once, and tried to do it again no how about some hugs and more sharing and caring'? Come on Robin."

Robin stood up and began pacing his office, rubbing his hands through his hair. "Then what do you suggest?"

Raven fell silent. No more crying, or sniffling, just blankly staring at the floor. "I . . . I need to pay for what I've done."

His heart stopped and his gut twisted as a hundred and one thoughts ran through his mind as to what she was implying. "Wh-what are you saying?"

She stood up. A newfound strength beginning to flow through her as if her guilt was slowly being washed away. "I've thought long and hard about this Robin. I need to turn myself over to the League."

He went pale. "Raven. We don't know what they'd do to you."

"I don't care. I HAVE to atone. I know you've seen it, Robin. I know you've seen me crumbling. In the field, across the breakfast table, in training," she was tearing up again, "I can't keep going like this. Your the only one who can help me. Please Robin. Just like you saved me from my fathers hell, I need you to save me from mine."

He shook his head slowly, but the tears in his own eyes told Raven that he knew she was right. The two birds embraced each other, sobbing into the other's shoulders before making the arrangements for the following morning.

Something was wrong. Something was very wrong, and had been for months now, and as the boyfriend it was his sacred duty to get to the bottom of it. It would be easy. Go to her room look her straight in those big, beautiful, purpley eyes of hers and not leave until she told him what it was that was bothering her. Just take her by the hand, OO! Or maybe go to the roof, like they had been for the last couple of nights, and just talk. Ask her what's bothering her in a romantic setting.

Easy peasy.

Well if it was so easy why hadn't he moved in the last half hour.

The green teen had been standing in front of his mirror relaying his plan to himself over and over again in an attempt to psych himself up for what he knew he needed to do.

"Come on you wuss. You can do it. Your a man for crying out loud. Be a MAN! . . . any time now."

After about another ten minutes of pacing and sitting and psyching, he finally shouted a "screw it" and ran for his door. They were going to talk whether she liked it or not . . . If she was okay with that.

His door swung open giving him the go ahead to charge to her bedroom, pound on the door and be the dutiful boyfriend. At least he would have, had she not already been at his door when it opened.

He squealed, taking a few steps back in surprise, but there she stood, looking a little surprised herself. Once his shock had worn off, he gathered his wits and thought back to his plan, oblivious to the fact that she appeared much lighter then she had in the past couple of months.

He squared his shoulders and cleared his throat. "Raven. We need to talk. You've been way different the past couple of weeks, and as the boyfriend it is my sacred duty to make sure-MM!"

Hands grabbed a handful of his hair and pulled his face harshly until his lips had met hers. Over the last couple of months of their relationship they had taken things rather slowly from hand holding, to long hugs, to small pecks on the lips, but this was anything but. He could feel her inhibitions being tossed aside leaving nothing but a hunger. A hunger for companionship, for touch, for him. A soft wet smacking noise sounded, indicating their separation and allowing Raven to speak to him in a low and husky tone.

"Gar, please just shut up." Mechanically he nodded his head before locking lips once again.

They moved into his bedroom, kicking aside junk and allowing the door to shut behind them. She quickly removed the clasp of her cloak, allowing it to billow slowly to the floor, then began to kick her boots off all while pushing him to the bottom bunk of his bed. In a flurry of fluid motions, he removed his gloves and the top part of his uniform and began to fiddle with his belt when her hands stopped him.

She was on top of him now, her legs lying on either side of him with her face inches from his own. "Gar, I'm, uh, not quite ready for . . you know . . That."

He chuckled attempting to catch his breath before cupping her pale cheek with his green, slightly clawed, hand. "Me neither, and we won't do anything till your ready, I just need to, ya know, get more comfortable."

She furrowed her brow looking down at his belt area. And she saw it. "Oh, heh, sorry."

"Wait. Why all the sudden-"

Her fingers rested on her lips. "Gar, I just want to be with you. Is that okay?"

Wit her fingers still on his lips, he nodded, smiling and clearly excited to finally have time with her. She helped him remove his belt and they continued, but now they were lying side by side on his bed. It was everything he could have asked for. She was everything he could have asked for. He kept his hands away from any problem areas, keeping them on her sides, shoulders and face, but slowly one of them found their way to her thigh eliciting a small gasp against his lips. There was a small pause, but when she hadn't taken his hand clean off, he left it there unmoving and only a little bit later did his hand travel again giving a few gentle squeezes along the flesh of her thigh until his sharp ears picked up light moans coming from her throat. Moans of pleasure.

Her hands in turn ran over the small cords of muscle along his arms, nails lightly scraping against his green flesh, grazing over various scars and burns he had earned over the years. Once they had traced every contour, her hands moved to her face, specifically his ears, and with a few gentle rubs elicited a soft purring rumbling from his chest. Uncharacteristically, she giggled at what she had produced from him, but he was to lost in her touch to acknowledge it. She always did love his ears.

It was an hour or so later before chapped lips and exhaustion forced them to separate, but she wouldn't leave his arms and he wouldn't let her go. They lay beside each other, his breath tickling the back of her neck as his arm draped around her waist. He was fast asleep, a small grin plastered to his face, but she remained awake. Sobbing and dreading the coming morning.

The next day

"You sure you don't wanna come?" Cyborg was fiddling with the keys to the T-Car with Starfire and Beast Boy beside him. "it's much easier to go shopping when your all there."

"Yes Robin. The latest edition of Cosmo is for sale and I must learn the secrets of achieving the maximum-"

"STARFIRE!" A red faced Robin quickly silenced his now giggling girlfriend as the two boys on either side of her didn't know whether to feel awkward or to burst out in laughter. Apparently Robin still had to help Starfire work on her discretion. Robin composed himself. "I've got paperwork I gotta work on from that Johnny Rancid thing the other day."

They shrugged. "Rae you in?" Beast Boy asked his girlfriend. She had sat herself at her usual spot on the couch with a book in hand. "Help me get some more tofu?"

She shook her head. "I have some meditation to catch up on after last night." She passed him a knowing smirk causing his face and ears to turn a deep shade of red that only deepened when Cyborg and Starfire stared in disbelief.

"Wait . . wha . . . huh . . wha . ."

"Dude lets go before all the tofu runs out!" Beast Boy ran for the doors, with his two friends still sputtering as they followed behind. Once it was sure that they had gone, Robin took a seat next to Raven on the couch.

"Pretty smart."

"I have my moments." They sat in silence for a few moments, Raven setting the book aside and joining Robin in staring off into nothing. His emotions, even without her powers, were easy to read. "Yes. I am sure about this." He nodded. "And no, we didn't do anything last night. Just . . a lot of kissing."

Unsure of what to say, he just spit out the first thing that came to mind. "How'd it go?"

She nodded. "Fine. My lips were super dry afterwards."

He smirked. "You'll get used to it." Her eyes slowly began to moisten. "Oh god, I mean, um-"

"It's okay Boy blunder." Her head suddenly snapped up. "Their here."

On que, a bright yellow light in the shape of a cross formed in the common room allowing three figures to step through its light. The golden armored, Dr. Fate, the magician, Giovanni Zatara, and the Amazon Warrior, Diana. Robin stood, approaching the three League members, but it was Diana who met him first.

"Hello Dick." She greeted warmly. "My you've grown?"

He smiled. "Bruce's training was bound to pay off eventually. Thanks for coming Diana."

"I'm still a little puzzled on why you needed one of us to come in the first place. Shouldn't Giovanni and Kent be enough?"

Robin stared pointedly at the two members of the JLD behind her. "I just wanna make sure Raven gets to the Watchtower. That's all."

Diana spared a small glance over her shoulder, knowing full well what Dick was insinuating, before looking past him to the young woman still on the couch. "And this must be Raven." Raven looked surprised. She could feel contempt from Giovanni and indifference from Dr Fate, but genuine sincerity from Diana, something she wasn't expecting. "Do you have everything you need?"

Raven stood. "I-I wasn't sure what I needed." It was true, she carried nothing but her uniform.

"We will come back for your possessions, that we'll allow, at a later time." Giovanni stated.

Diana scowled, but kept her attention on Raven, taking her hands in hers. "I think it's brave what your doing." Diana guided Raven until she stood with the others. "Kent. Take us back to the Watchtower."

"Dude I forgot my wallet!" Raven gasped, but saw a pair of jade green eyes staring with confusion into her own just as she was swallowed by a golden light.

A lot of answers that has raised so many questions, the best way to find out the answers is to stick around.

What will happen to Raven? Let's find out together.

Till next time.
