"I love you, Jules."
Juliet lifts her head up from her boyfriend's chest to look up at him. "You what?"
"I, Shawn Spencer, love you, Juliet O'Hara. L-O-V-E. Y-O-U. Love," Shawn kisses her on the lips. "You."
Juliet looks into his eyes, searching them for signs of doubt, or deceit. To her surprise, and delight, she sees love in them. Squealing, Juliet wraps her arms around his shoulders and pulls him in for a long, passionate kiss.
"Does that mean you love me back?" Shawn asks, dazed from their kiss.
Juliet hits his shoulder playfully. "It does, you meat head! Do you know how long I've been waiting to hear those words from you, Shawn?"
"Probably about as long as I've been waiting to get the courage to tell you?" Shawn laughs nervously, a serious expression on his face. "I was worried about telling you. A small part of me thought that, maybe, possibly, you didn't love me back."
"Well I, Juliet O'Hara, love you, Shawn Spencer. So much. Those words were worth the wait."
Shawn gives her a great big smile. "Good. I think you should know that I love you more than I love pineapple. And Gus, but don't tell him that."
"Your secret is safe with me." They share another kiss. When they pull away, Juliet places her head on Shawn's chest, listening to his heartbeat, and Shawn runs his fingers through her blonde locks.
After a few minutes, Shawn leans down to whisper in Juliet's ear, "Hey, Jules? Did you know I love you?"
Juliet smiles, and then leans up to whisper in her boyfriend's ear, "I did. Did you know I love you right back?"
He leans down to kiss her on the lips, putting all the love he has for her in it. "You bet."
