Too Late

Too Late

Song: Anymore by Shelby Overley

You let me fall into the ground

You let me fall and drown…

And now my heart is burnin'

And now my soul is gone

Everything is broken

And everything done….

Sakura Haruno gazed out at the waters, just below the cliffs, unaware of her onlooker. Unaware of everything….

Cuz you left, me

You left me high and dry

Leavin me to fall on my face….

You took away my heart

You took away everything

You hurt me…you hurt me

And now I can't feel….

anymore

The onlooker's face twisted into pain and regret. Sakura's eyes sparkled and closed as she finished off the chorus. Her pink hair blew into the wind, whipping it into her front, as if pulling her toward the edge of the forever cliff.

You let me drop so far down

You let me sink into the ground

Into the flood

Where I died in myself

You killed me from the inside

You hurt me now

And there's no turnin' back….

Now

Sakura drew closer and closer to the edge of the cliff, her eyes still closed, her song floating yet fading in the wind across the sea. The spectator's eyes widened in horror as Sakura sat at the edge of the cliff.

Cuz you left, me

You left me high and dry

Leavin me to fall on my face….

You took away my heart

You took away everything

You hurt me…you hurt me

And now I can't feel….

anymore

The spectator gasped as Sakura edged nearer and nearer to the drop off, not hesitating at all. His eyes began to sting as realization hit. His heart hurt, his eyes never leaving the woman's frame.

So now I'm gone and broken

So now I'm and hurtin'

Now I can't find myself!

So now I'm gone and broken

So now I'm gone and hurtin'

Now I can't find myself!…..

ANY….MORE

"SAKURA!!" Sakura pushed herself over the edge as her name was called. She looked above her, into tortured onyx eyes. She smiled up at his rapidly decreasing figure. She closed her eyes, a peaceful smile gracing her angel like features. Her back was facing the water that raged below her, fighting for its chance to gobble her up, yet somehow she remained calm, as if she had already died and felt the pain of the concrete water. But in a way, she had…

She pushed herself over the edge, the spectator called her name. But it was too late… He leaned over the cliff, reaching is arm out towards her. It was too late… He watched as she smiled up at him. He watched as she closed her eyes, her angelic face graced by the most peaceful smile had ever seen cross her lips. He watched as Sakura Haruno died for the second time by him. Sasuke Uchiha watched…everything he did was too late…
