The orchestral music playing in the shop is really soothing your mind. School had really been stressing you out. All these deadlines to catch, projects due, mid-terms, being an all A scholar was hard! You remember when you were in Middle School… People called you a "nerd" and "that freaky girl who talks to ghosts". You found the dead interesting and unique. They were just being judgmental and insensitive! Middle School wasn't the best… But High School is way better! Even though you were learning at a college level…

Ring-Ding!

You woke up from your flashback to notice someone at the cash register. A very perky and happy girl anxiously waited for you to take her order. She had tons of jewelry and had really long hair all bunched up into a braid. She really liked pink, you were guessing.

"Hello, welcome to Starbucks-"

"Aradia? Is that really you?" She squealed.

You cocked you head to the side, and then looked down at your name tag. You nametag said "Megido." Your boss, , likes everyone to use their last names. He is so strange. But having this girl know your first name was even stranger.

"How do you know my first name?" You ask, awkwardly.

"It's me, Feferi Peixes! Ya know, from Junior High?" She smiles.

Feferi? She was your one of your best friends in 6th grade! You remember you and her flirting with these two boys. What were their names? Eridan? Sollux? Yeah, it was them. Wow, this was exciting!

"Feferi? Really? It's been so long!" You squeak. You squeaks back then hugs you over the counter.

"Should I, uh, take your order?" You ask.

"Oh!" She blushes. "Sure… I'll have a low-fat Mocha?"

"Got it." You wink and turn to your station. Fixing drinks was always a good quality of yours. You peek over your shoulder to see what she's doing. She sat down at a two person table next to a window. You took this moment to see how much she's changed… Had she cut her hair since Middle School? She wore less makeup than she did back then… You turn back and put a lid on your creation. (A.K.A, Fef's drink) You walk over to her and place the drink on the table. She smiles. She really looked beautiful today. You feel your cheek to see if you're blushing.

"Sit down and chat?" Feferi suggests. You do just that, ignoring the fact you had a job.

You guys chat about several things. Feferi was now in a magnet program for student interested in modeling. She was also taking Marine Biology classes. Sometimes she'd hiccup when she'd laugh. She thought it was quite embarrassing but you found it adorable. Every once in a while your hair would fall into your face, which was quite annoying. Finally, Feferi brushed that strand behind your ear.

"Gee, Aradia, your hair is gorgeous!"

You blush. "Y-yours is pretty also…" This was an awkward moment, but it felt right at the same time…

She pleasantly smiles and sighs. "It's great being able to see you again… We had such great times…"

"Can't we still have more?" You mention, cheeks bright red.

She's blushing now. She takes your hand, and your heart skips a beat. "Yeah… We can." And with that she pecks you on the lips. She looks nervous, awaiting your reaction. You decide the appropriate thing to do is peck her back, but this time, it lasts longer. You both are sure of what you are doing and what you are feeling. Maybe it wasn't "true love", but it was enough for you. Feferi pulls away.

"Let's start here."
