Dabble:"Could you do a Mabekah drabble at there wedding or something like that :)"
...
Rebekah was nervous, she's pretty sure she's never been this nervous in her 1000 years of existing and that's saying something. She looked in the mirror, she gazed at her white strapless gown, her long blonde hair reaching past her shoulders. Was she ready for this? She's never loved anyone as much as she loved Matt, not even Stefan. But was she really ready for marriage? Was he? Did he really want to spend eternity with her?
When Matt and her got together she couldn't possibly get happier. She always wanted some normalcy in her chaotic life, and Matt gave her exactly that. But that wasn't the only reason why she loved him. He understood her, trusted her and he wasn't scared of her.
Her brothers didn't really approved at first. He was just a human after all. But When they saw how happy he made their little sister, they accepted him. They dated for 4 years, he wanted to finish High School and go to College and she was right along with him. His love for her made her brighter, more free than she's ever been before. She loved him and He loved her.
In the midst of all that, Rebekah and Caroline got closer, Since the Blonde was dating her brother Niklaus, they became best friends even. They were more similar than both of them expected, they both had insecure and neurotic moments. But they reassured each other always, Rebekah knowing Nik and Caroline knowing Matt.
When Matt proposed it caught by surprised completely and she will admit she shed a few tears. She couldn't believe this was happening to her. He told her he was ready to commit to her, body and soul. And that he wanted to spend eternity with her. He wanted to become a vampire. For her.
And now here she was, in her wedding gown, getting ready to walk down the aisle. She sighed, why couldn't she do this? why was she always so insecure?
At that thought, Caroline walked into her room. She was dressed in a red gown, her maid of honor dress.
"Everyone and everything is ready. Now all you have to do is walk down the aisle and say yes!" Caroline babbled, when she saw Rebekah's in the mirror though, she frowned. "What's wrong?"
"I- I can't do this.." Rebekah breathed out, blinking away tears.
"What do you mean you can't do this? Of course you can!" Caroline assured her, then her eyes expressed she understood. "Come here." She took her hand, sitting down with her on the couch in a corner of the room.
"He loves you. He loves you more than anything, okay? And You love him." She said softly. "I what you're feeling. I felt too when Nik and I got married. You think he doesn't really love you and that you're making a mistake. But that's insecure talking, Deep inside you know it's true."
"You're right." Rebekah says, laughing at herself for thinking such thoughts.
"Good. Now get your ass up and become Mrs. Donovan already!" Caroline tells her, taking her hand and ushering her to the doors that lead to the church.
Caroline smiles at her reassuringly, before the doors open and she walks down the aisle. Then Niklaus stood, taking her hand to guide her down the aisle. She's always been the closest to Nik, she didn't want anyone else to walk her down the aisle.
They walked down, the common wedding march in the background. She looked ahead, she saw Matt, all dashing in his tux. God, she loved him. When they got to the altar, Niklaus gave her hand to Matt. Nik smiled at me, then went to stand next Caroline. Rebekah gazed at Matt's baby blues eyes which expressed pure and complete love.
The rest came in a blur, they said their 'I do's, the pastor pronounced them husband and bride and the kissed. The kiss was slow and passionate. She was sure she hasn't been kissed like this before. The kiss of true love.
Her dream wedding came true with her dream guy. Now she was officially Mrs. Matt Donovan and she couldn't be happier.
