To rule by fear, to oppress, to stand above all, to be better than them all. This is what it means to be The Tyrant, The King, The Dictator, The Emperor, and as a pattern through out history, these rulers, they were not eliminated by the enemy, not on those on the other side, but simply by assasination, an assasination carried out by those closest to them. This is their downfall.

Never did anyone think that Akashi Seijuro fall from his throne, would be proved wrong, he was aboslute, was he not? So how could someone, such as he, fall?

Staring at the ground bellow him as he knelt down on his knees, a hand over his face -over his eye- as his tears fell. He paid the tears no mind, somewhere in him he acknowledged that in his position no one could see his face, as pitiful as he position may be. He was wrecking his brain as he went over everything, every move, every word, everysecond that had passed, trying to see where he went wrong. He had acounted for everything, he had seen all the posibilites, except he didnt, did he? He wouldnt have lost if he had, so what had he not accounted for? What did he not expect?

His frame shook slightly, finally feeling the adrenaline in him crash, the fatigue now catching up with him, he gave a shaky exhale and bit his button lip, nearly drawing blood. How had he fallen so hard? He was...He was absolute, he was the Emperor, he had the Emperor eye, so why? How? it shouldnt be possible. He was the absolute, he never lost, so how had this happened? His other hand shook as he still thought about it. He should have won...He had done everything right.

He curled up his other hand as it had started shaking, drawing it into a fist. He glanced at the corner of his eye, seeing people around him keeping a distance, all looking around not knowing what to do. He wanted to laugh, have they thought he had gone mad? well, maybe he has...Do they think he is weak now? Are they going to throw the final blow? Amongst the crowd he could see the familiar colours, he wanted to scoff, what are they going to do now? Rub salt into the wound? He noticed he couldnt see the one colour he wanted to see with them and he didnt know if he was relieved or not about that.

After what seemed like an eternity he finally looked up infront of him, he froze as he saw the familiar figure infront of him, also the ground, sitting patiently infront of him, as if waiting for him to look up, which he probably had done. The figures arms started moving as Akashi looked up, his arms spreading out slightly, invitingly. So this was where he was, Akashi thought faintly, almost fond despite what had happened.
