Lee Jordan plays Cupid

Fred never thought he would have a date other than Angelina Johnson for the Yule Ball so he was extremely surprised and a little disappointed when she chose his twin brother, George, as her date. Even though Fred was happy for his brother, he was found moping many times at meal times when his partner in crime chose to sit with his new girl and not him.

Lee Jordan noticed his friend sitting on his lonesome by the lake one afternoon, twiddling his wand between his fingers. Lee had also noticed another sitting at the lakeside by herself, with her nose in a book and bushy chocolate hair covering the rest of her face.

Later that evening in the Gryffindor common room, Lee found himself sitting between the very two people he saw at the lakeside that afternoon, the down-side? They were arguing about some prank that Fred was planning to pull and the bushy haired witch was trying to put a stop to. Suddenly, an idea came to Lee. It was too good to pass up. The next thing that the arguers knew was that they were dragged from the common room and stuffed into an empty and unused room in the dungeons. Lee locked the door from the outside after instructing the pair to kiss and make-up in the next 30 minutes or they would never be allowed out the room until the end of the school year. He took their wands away from the two as well, just for good measure.

He wasn't surprised to find them still in there an hour later, with mussed hair, swollen lips, untucked shirts, and flushed cheeks. When the three of them returned to the common room, nobody was shocked to see Fred Weasley and Hermione Granger walking in hand-in-hand with shy smiles on their still flushed faces and Lee Jordan strolling behind them with a triumphant look on his face. Fred Weasley had a date for the Yule Ball, also a new girlfriend.
