"Why do you love me?"
It was a sudden question, yes... But every question deserves an answer. And she'd better get one soon.
The redhead looked up at the green eyed female whose lap he was lying down on, "Why the sudden question?"
"I was just curious," she replied after a minute, all the while making herself more comfortable on the couch.
He didn't buy the excuse, "Come on, BC... The actual reason."
She groaned, annoyed that her boyfriend had caught on to her lie. Not that it was surprising, considering he'd been with her for almost a year now, with his observing skills, no less.
"Well?," he pushed on, waiting for her reply.
She sighed, "Because... I'm not the type of girl, you'd usually spend your time with. I'm not that pretty, nor that open with your ideas of fun. Besides, I was sure I'd be one of your pathetic little flings."
He repositioned himself next to the girl, looking straight at her, "Is this really what it's about?"
The girl nodded.
The redhead pulled her closer to him, "I love you because of who you are. You're unique... Much too different from the usual flings I've had in the past. It's what has attracted me to you in the first place."
She simply listened as he went, feeling a bit more content upon hearing his answer.
"You're stubborn, hot headed, impulsive, unpredictable, cunning..." he continued, "And no pushover. You have no problems speaking your mind, or rather, taking action, when you believe I've done something wrong."
"Well... Dating me isn't an easy task, Brick." was all the female said.
"And I wouldn't have it any other way," he told her, flashing her one of his smiles reserved only for her, "for you've always brought out the best in me."
"Someone had to." she smiled, before leaning in for a kiss, just as he was.
Though the kiss had been short lived as they'd heard a loud squeal and a loud click from a camera.
"Awwww~ That was so sweet!"
"B-Bubbles!" the pair yelled out, quite discontent at the blonde's interruption.
Bubbles simply giggled, "Oh come on, lovebirds. It was just that one picture."
"And the billion others before that." the raven haired female said, all the while glaring at the blonde.
"I-It's the last one though, p-promise!" she'd squeaked out, before running off from an angered sister, who seemed to have been approaching her.
Brick chuckled at the younger sister's running form, "Guess you scared her away."
She nodded, "Just like usual, yes."
"Now where were we, BC?" he'd asked, with a mischievous gleam in his eyes.
"Well... I'll let you know," she only took his hand, "but only in a more secluded area. Wouldn't want any more unwanted interruptions."
The pair soon walked out of sight to continue their unfinished business.
