Gilbert had never expected his other to be so amazing as Klaus had been more than Gilbert had ever expected to find in his lifetime.

Klaus was all that Gilbert wished he was during those quiet moments at night when all of those hidden insecurities sometimes came out.

He loved him far too much and may be one day Gilbert would be able to show him that he truly did care more than anything in the world.
