Val frowned, puckering her lips out as she noted the drip from the ice cream slip onto her chin. To her misfortune, she had forgotten to bring her own set of napkins.

Well then. That was a fine start for a day on the beach.

She grumbled to herself just ever so slightly as she spread her thin legs up along the beach towel even more.

Trying to ignore the pure fact of the stickiness from her chin, her thoughts were carried to a different topic. One she had before thought.

Shouldn't Mike be here by now?

Val only sighed, wondering if he may have his own set with him..

Hopefully there may be a strong possibility of yes.

As she then sat straight up, eyes gazing upon the sea with that stickiness to her chin, a dark shadow had set upon her thin frame from behind. She squinted at the shape that showed upon the sand, noting the top of the head.

How could she mistake that shape of wool hat in the shadow?

Before she was able to turn, long, strong arms had draped along her frame with a warm embrace. She blinked, smiling a bit.

"Mmm, Hey there, thought you got us ice cream-" he started, then Val's face changed a bit.

"Oh, I did. Do you want it in a cup to drink now?" she said in a joking way, suckling in her bottom lip to stop a snicker. At this, she could taste the bit of sweetness of the ice cream touch her tongue.

"...How late am I? I swore I left on the exact hour"

"Remember your clock is always at least at hour behind," She started, "And I told you to use Micky's watch" she pointed, head turned enough so they were facing.

Now, Mike was now noticing the cream stickiness on her chin. He rose a brow.

She glanced at his wondering eyes at her chin.

"Er, Forgot napkins," She puckered her lips out. "Have-?"

Before she could finish, Mike leaned a bit and licked at her sticky chin.

Val's cheeks began to heat up, eyes crossing to watch.

Mike began to leave small kisses to his chin and a couple more licks. He then pulled away, smirk forming deeply along his face.

"Who needs napkins when you got me?"
