The bright streets of Domino City blared with the honking of traffic, gleaming with the light of thousands of building and headlights. The cars rushed to and fro, quick and fast and alive.

The teenager leaned over his balcony railing, arms straight and stiff as they clutched it tightly. His eyes had always empty, dulled, but as he climbed up, his eyes took on an unholy shine.

Smiling, he jumped, laughing as the wind blew through his hair, cutting through his face and nose and mouth. Above, the stars sparkled, and below, the lights flickered and flashed. He had never felt more alive than as he did then.

As he approaches the ground, hard and soft and aching and emptiness, he thinks that his body's death is nothing more than a continuation of his life. He had been born and had died, twice now.

It was high time his life was completed, brought to full circle.

He'd live again.
