Was planning to make this a Reylo story as their my current ship but the bunnies had other plans. It suddenly twisted itself into an Obidala story(one of my other ships). Please be gentle with the he reviews as this is my first Star Wars story.
Rey, Ben, and their adversaries were not the only ones in the First Order throne room. A single figure of shimmery blue watched them. Padme studied the pair fight together in tandem, back to back, always conscious of each other but singly focused on their attackers. She suddenly felt a warmth at her back and knew Obi-Wan had appeared. He slipped an arm about her waist.
"They fight well together. Ben was always gifted with a lightsaber, but the girl, while she isn't as skilled, is blending her technique with his. Almost as if they were dancing."
She looked away from the battle briefly to look into his eyes. "It's all about finding the right partner."
Obi-Wan smiled warmly at her. "I remember another pair fighting together just as well..."
Padme smiled back. "Yes, but that fight would have never happened if someone hadn't gotten themselves captured."
He looked thoughtful. "True. But if I hadn't been captured then we would never have happened."
"True."
A sudden chill overtook them both. Anakin had arrived.
"What did I miss?" He asked eagerly.
Padme subtly pulled herself away from Obi-Wan."Ben killed Snoke after he threatened to kill Rey."
"And he tortured her." The Jedi master added.
Anakin laughed as he placed his arm about Padme's shoulders. "That's my boy. Always protect your woman. If not, then someone may sneak in and steal her away."
Padme ignored this statement in favor of watching Rey and Ben. Obi-Wan, however, did not. "Is that what you call force choking the mother of your children? Protecting?" He asked harshly. Despite the years, he still hadn't forgiven his former Padawan's actions.
Anakin waved his words away dismissively. "Padme forgave me. Didn't you?"
The woman in question ignored the pair. "Boys stop comparing the size of your lightsabers. Things happened. Just let the past die."
Rey brace a hand on Ben's thigh to gain momentum for a brutal kick just as he leaned forward to sever his opponents arm, causing Padme to smile with approval. "That's my girl." She murmured. Rey was absolutely the kind of girl that Ben needed. Strong willed. Not willing to take any of his crap. One that was filled with hope.
Obi-Wan openly grinned. "I also remember someone grabbing my leg that way during a battle, and it was the start of a very intimate relationship." Padme looked to him and red his intent. She gave him a warning glare that was promptly ignored. He pulled her away from Anakin and kissed her. The former Sith was dumbstruck.
"What?! You...and...Obi-Wan?! My master?"
His eyes flashed from someone he once considered a brother to the woman who had carried his children. "Padme? Is this true?"
Without waiting for a response he disappeared. Now her blue eyed knight laughed. He actually laughed.
"Damn. He didn't even give us a chance to tell him that Ben isn't even his actual grandson."
Padme rolled her eyes. "I don't think he could handle the additional shock." Her eyes turned to the pair who stood together surrounded by smoking bodies. "I think we should give them some privacy."
Obi-Wan nodded. "I could do with a little privacy myself. Join me?"
They disappeared together, the other couple in the room having no idea that their union was blessed by two of the most important people in the galaxies history.
