AN:/ I wrote this about a real life situation and then I thought that it would be a good story about Amy and Sonic. Or anyone that you guys see it being about.

She walked out of the bright light of the classroom and into the dim lights of the hallways. Walking to the end of the hall, she waited for a special someone, the one she loved. The morning had been the same as always, she got to school on the bus, and he was waiting for her. They stood outside for the ten minutes before the first bell rang, talking with friends. Before going their separate ways, they shared a kiss.

Now, here she was, waiting for him. As she waited, nothing could stop the vigorous flooding of her mind with thoughts of going home and ideas for her next vignette. She saw him walk up the stairs and over to her. They continued to their next class. He stopped her where their paths separated and told her that he had some information that he needed to impart. A thought washed through her head, saying those three important words she had always longed to hear. The words that would bring her extreme happiness.

She was wrong.

Her happiness started to wane and be replaced by sadness. Before they went their separate ways, they shared one final kiss.

One her way home that day, she had tried to convince herself that what had happened had been a daydream. A, horrid, cruel daydream.

But she couldn't.

She loathed both of them. She absolutely despised him and the so-called "friend" of hers that he left her for. She had attempted to eat, but every single thing she had put in her mouth was acrid. After all else had failed, she had no choice but to sulk.

She fell down against her couch and cried until she had no more tears left to fall. No more sadness left to swallow and keep bottled inside once again. While crying, she had kept muttering to herself that she had done her best.

After she regained her composure, she had convinced herself that everything he had done was pretense. Nothing was real, for everything in her life was always false. Her mind kept playing the same horrid scene over and over again. She had so many questions that began with just one word.

Why?

But she could not ask him. The discord between the two of them was too great, even though he had asked that they remain friends.

She refused to. Neither of them were her friends, they had made that clear by cutting her so deep. They had sworn they loved each other. How big of a lie was that? When she heard that they had broken up a week later, she knew it was huge.

He said that he had loved her.

He told her that she was different.

But even though, they are not supposed to, they do.

Even angels know how to lie.

AN:/ I wrote this story about how my boyfriend broke up with me. This is exactly what happened so I'm not going to change it. My boyfriend broke up with me while he was walking me to class and told me that it was because he started dating my best friend...yeah, he got kicked where the sun don't shine because of that.
