Letters To Deidara

I sadly do not own Naruto or any of its characters.

This is the result of an (last minute) attempt at one of my English assignments: Write a letter to someone you admire. (I may even write a follow-up as his reply.) I asked my teacher weather he/she (no pun intended) could be fictional and he said yes. Personally, I would have loved to rephrase that question as I believe that everything exists in an alternate dimension.

Dear Deidara-san,

I admire you for quite a few reasons, the most prominent being your individuality. You had never let anyone influence your decisions, no matter how outlandish they seemed.

You became a wonderful and accomplished artist no matter what people had told you, ignoring the degrading and snide comments made to your face. They told you that your art was weird, that it simply served to take up space on the face of this Earth.

The ability to take something rather novel and ordinary and transform it into an explosion of the creativity, effort, skill and time you put into creating and perfecting each and every one of your works is utterly mind blowing.

No one else dared or bothered to try something so simple and compact yet magnificent. You were the only one. Nothing was too "dangerous", no risk to great to achieve what you deemed the ultimate goal.

You complete dedication to your art is astounding. Your personality somehow matches the mood of your art, your whole ideology is based off of it as well. You live with it, as it lives within yourself. The sheer will it must have taken to accomplish what you have undoubtedly triumphed at continues to amaze me, as it always has.

Nothing stopped you, and nothing ever will. You have reached your ultimate and higher, as far as I am concerned, but I can bet you that I am not the only one who thinks so without a doubt in their mind. However, true art in my opinion happens to be as long as someone, even if it is just one person (though I wholeheartedly assure you the number is larger than that), believes in their creation, it is the purest and best possible form of art anyone could possibly have the privilege of experiencing.

Yours faithfully and eternally (no matter how much you disagree with the concept),

Kagerou Shay Kurosawa

Reviews are greatly appreciated. Sadly, this is an edited version. Though I'm pretty sure I would have come up with something similar in the first place had I not done it at the last minute.
