Ashes Fade away

Disclaimer: I don't own the show. Wish I did though!

Sequel to Ten Night which is the sequel to Heaven's not Enough…sorry must write prequel but…Yeah COMMENT! Note: Best to listen to this while listening to 'Ashes Fade Away' a Ayashi no Ceres song…

"My…mother?"

"Aki…oh my precious little Aki…twenty years ago I fell deeply in love with your father."

The day that she had been dreading had come about.

She was dying.

Aki was to know the truth on this day, to learn that his cousin was not his cousin at all but his mother…his beloved mother whom lost the man she called cousin and lover.

The story began, that for ten nights the cousins enjoyed their company and loved one another…that on the tenth night his father died, that one year later Aki was born to her.

She lied to protect him.

His dear mother.

He looked down upon her, his young wife beside him also learning the truth of what had really happened twenty years before.

"…so Naruto and Sakura left one month after you were born. It was too much for them to bear you see…Sakura had loved Sasuke and to find out that he loved me and killed an innocent man…my dear Aki, she lost her mind…Naruto then took her away and then all I had was you."

Nothing was uttered between them then, silence filling the space between the three in the room.

Hinata Hyuuga bared her soul and was dying.

Aki Hyuuga found out, finally that his mother loved him and wasn't dead. 'How could I have not seen it long before?' he thought as his hand touched her cold pale face.

"Mother…"

She smiled at him, the way she used to smile before as her memories came to her, memories of Neji smiling, his hair blowing through the breeze as his white eyes stared lovingly down on her, holding her in his arms…not willing to let go.

"Aki…"

Her eyes wandered to Miori, her blue eyes shinning just like her mothers…Ino was happy about the union…and of course so was Hinata.

So proud…so ready to die knowing that he would not be alone.

Her eyes caught a figure beside her…

"Neji…?" She asked.

He smiled and held his hand for her.

Aki's eyes shed tears as Hinata's life ended.

'Neji…oh Neji!' She held him close. 'My love, are you really here?'

'I'm here I am always here…' He softly said leading her away. 'Now Hinata, don't you think it's time to rest?'

'Yes…' She said. 'Let's rest finally, together…' And that's what they did.

Trough love, tragedy, life being born, pain and sorrow they were finally at peace, together again.

THE END.
