(-Me and me-)
[CielxLizzie]
words:: 100
disclaimer:: I do not own anything; it is called fanfiction, is it not?
Ciel loves me,
But he doesn't love Me.
He loves the sweet me,
The cute, silly, innocent me.
But he doesn't love the real Me,
The un-cute, serious, and certainly not innocent Me.
me and Me
they're two different people.
me, meet Me.
Me, meet me.
But Me, you can never never meet Ciel.
The only "me" who can meet him is me,
because if he ever met the real Me,
he would surely be repulsed.
He'll turn away,
And leave me,
Taking his love with him.
Ciel loves me,
I know,
But he does not—he cannot—love Me.
notes from the author::
This is a simple drabble about our dear Lizzie. I've always loved her, and the (canon, mind you) pairing of Ciel/Lizzie, but I've never been able to write a single thing about the two (though I did try once- needless to say, I failed miserably). Given the recent events taking place in the manga, however, the pairing suddenly became much easier to write about.
Looking back at this drabble, I admit that it is written in a somewhat confusing to understand manner. I will now try to clear up any and all confusion.
It's all very simple- Lizzie views herself as being two separate people. "me" and "Me." The "me" that isn't capitalized is the sweet one that Ciel is most familiar with; the "Me" that is capitalized is her stronger side. Knowing just that, I'm sure the drabble can be easily understood now.
Reviews will be appreciated, loves; did you like it? Did you hate it? I'd love to know.
