The front door closed and Teddy was left alone in the Burrow with only James, Rose, and Albus. With everyone else either in London our out in the backyard, Teddy was left in charge of the three troublemakers before him.

So far, he had everything under control. James was playing with some blocks, Rose was playing with her doll, and Albus was playing with a miniature model of the Hogwarts Express over in the corner. Then Victoire walked into the room looking very downcast.

"Teddy," Victoire said, looking up from the floor. Teddy was her last hope. "How do I look in my new shorts?" Teddy turned towards her.

"Um, you look good." Teddy replied, turning to keep an eye on James, who had been known to cause trouble when no one was looking. Victoire's face lit up so bright one would've thought she was the sun.

"Really? Thank you so much!" Victoire threw her arms around Teddy's neck and hugged him. James looked up at them from his tiny little chair by the table of blocks. Teddy felt as if he was being strangled. He struggled to keep his eyes on the Potter and Weasley kids.

Girls will never make sense. Teddy thought, as Victoire continued to hug his neck.
