Kryptonite
Bella was driving along in her truck one afternoon. That didn't surprise anyone because Bella had a job and happened to do a lot of driving during many different afternoons. What was so special about this time was that somebody decided to write a story about it.
Ironically enough, miles and miles away, Edward was also—just kidding. He was just sitting there which is what he also happened to do during many afternoons.
Due to typical plot development they both turned on their radios (because Bella's magically appeared back in her car and Edward's was strong enough to pick up a signal from way too many miles away) and started listening to the same song.
Yay for situational irony.
Anyways, they both heard the song and even though they mumbled at it they had yet to see its relevance to either one of their situations.
But it was relevant.
Very relevant.
So they got to singing; Bella in her truck and Edward miles and miles away in the corner of some attic.
"You called me strong," Edward sang.
"You called me weak," Bella answered him back. She didn't know that she did, but she did. "But still your secrets I will keep. You took for granted all the times I never let you down."
"You stumbled in and bumped your head; if not for me then you'd be dead. I picked you up and put you back on solid ground," Edward started to recognize the irony taking place but he didn't turn off the radio because who doesn't like a good 3 Doors Down song? "If I go crazy then will you still call me Superman?"
"If I'm alive and well, will you be there holding my hand?" Bella still didn't make the connection.
"I'll keep you by my side with my superhuman might." Edward lies!
"Kryptonite," They both finished, unaware of the event that had just taken place.
So
i went to sleep at 7 and woke up at 11:46 to write this.
it is now 12:45 and i am very proud to be done with it in under an hour.
of course,
it would've been an even shorter length of time if i didn't spend forever looking for lyric websites that actually loaded
and if i didn't take that itty bitty Sweeney Todd sing-a-long break about half way through
have you seen that movie?
it's amazing!
oh my Carlisle, Johnny Depp is amazing...
i saw it the day after it came out
(and i am very proud of that)
soon afterwards i bought the soundtrack
(which i completely recommend)
the funny thing is that i can't stand slasher films
not only that but i can't even stand the sight of blood.
i've passed out three times because of blood...
shudder
wow,
this is longer than the actual story...
xD
