I watched episode 23 of Fresh Pretty Cure, and it's nice. Here's the sight that surprises me: the fight between Cure Peach and Eas because it looks familiar to me. Why? Because it resembles one of my favorite anime series, Dragon Ball Z.
Now that I thought about it, here's how. The way they punch and kick so quickly, that's how. When I saw that, I find that familiar; it's a sign that I discover that it's just like DBZ. To put it simple, this is how the entire cast of the series fight. Well, it doesn't help out the fact that Fresh Pretty Cure is created by the same studio that made this martial arts series: Toei Animation.
On to the fight. I could say that Love, who is Cure Peach, has the same goal as Goku: stopping the villain from doing the bad things. She plans on doing it to Eas aka Setsuna just like Goku did to Vegeta in the Saiyan Saga. They really have quite a fight alright. Anyway, when Goku will be battling Vegeta by himself, Peach will be battling Eas by herself. The end result of the respective battle ended up with the two of them being down to the ground. That's how Goku and Peach ended making friends with them.
The difference is that while Love has earned a friend in Setsuna, who has become Cure Passion, Goku didn't earn a friend in Vegeta as he just let him escape after their battle. That is until the Frieza Saga that they worked together. I could say Vegeta has become good since then and started working alongside Goku and his friends in the Android and Cell sagas. In the middle of the Majin Buu Saga, he is brainwashed as Majin Vegeta. You know, Setsuna is so gonna have that in episode 42. Luckily, it's averted for her. Vegeta has his own way of averting that: he is not really brainwashed, he just let himself fall under the spell and can snap out of it anytime. He did all this just to battle Goku again. Anyway, he snaps out of the brainwashing after knocking him down. Can you believe that? I say that's not fair because Goku isn't fighting at that time; he's getting a Senzu Bean.
Well, that concludes it. Fresh Pretty Cure episode 23 is like Dragon Ball Z after all.
