Disclaimer: I own nothing.
Author's Note: I got the words in bold from Leap Year, which is a good romantic comedy and definitely worth watching at least once.
I felt bad after writing If It Kills Me, especially on Valentine's Day, so I figured I'd give Shelos something a little happier.

For you see, each day I love you more
Today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.

May you never steal, lie or cheat,
But if you must steal, steal away my sorrows
He doesn't ask what the problem is. Sometimes, she thinks he doesn't have to, that he knows her so well that he can read her mind sometimes, but then she dismisses the thought. It was a little ridiculous. He simply takes a seat beside her, high on the rooftops where he'd known he would find her because she likes high places, like to see the way the horizon stretches on and the way that the sky looked so wide and endless.
He simply breaks a bar of chocolate with caramel in half and hands her the slightly larger piece. Sheena eyes him sideways. Zelos used to hate caramel, she remembers ("More for me." She remembers teasing.). She wonders when that changed.
"You had to pick the hardest building to climb, didn't you?" Zelos asks. "How'd you get up here?"
Sheena finds herself smiling, unable to help herself (He's always had that effect on her though) and she points behind her. "There's a ladder. Right there."
Zelos looks back, as though he doesn't believe her. "Seriously?"
Laughter is bubbling from her lips suddenly and she tries to smother it before deciding to simply let it roar. He pushes her playfully, but he's smiling too.
And if you must lie, lie with me all the nights of my life
Sheena's instincts wake her instantly at the sound of a door quietly clicking closed. She doesn't open her eyes, but she tenses minutely, ready for a fight if it should come to that.
A familiar low chuckle goes through the room and there's a gentle jostling of the bed before an equally familiar voice is at her ear. "Relax, darling. It's just me."
Sheena rolls over, hardly able to see Zelos' face in the darkness, but she knows he's there. "You're late." She said, sleepiness slurring her words a little.
Zelos slipped under the covers beside her, an arm wrapping around her waist. "I'll make you pancakes tomorrow to make up for it."
"I'll hold you to that."
Zelos brushed a kiss on her cheek. "I'm sure you will."
And if you must cheat, cheat Death, for I could not live a day without you
