Robin was surprised.
After he came back from work today, he went straight to see Regina in the kitchen. He hugged her from behind and kissed her neck just like every single day. But today, she pushed him away and said he 'smelled bad'.
What happened to his forest smell? It was always her favourite smell.
Well..at least she used to say so. Did he lose his charm?
Regina told him to go take a shower let her cook the dinner.
Sniffing his armpits as he walked upstairs, he honestly told himself he didn't have B.O.
...
He took a longer time to shower just to make sure he's really 'clean' so she might reward him with some s'mores tonight. Regina went to bed early these days and he's hungry for some dessert but he didn't want to wake her up.
But today he was really craving for one.
While Robin was towel drying his hair, his eyes caught something in the bin.
It was a long white stick with 2 pink lines on one end.
To his curiosity, he picked it up and examined it. It looked like the thing that Regina used to check Roland's temperature when he was sick.
Why did she throw it away then?
Robin ran downstairs, rushed to the kitchen and turned Regina to face him.
"Are you not feeling well?"
"Hmm..? No I'm fine. Why do you say so?"
"Don't lie to me Regina. I saw that stick u used to check on Roland when he had a fever. I saw that in the bin in the bathroom. You threw it away so I don't see it, right?"
"Robin..it's not what you think", Regina blushed and turned her face away from him, not knowing if she should laugh or cry at his innocence.
"There you go..you must have a fever. Your face even turned red now." Robin asked, worrying about his stubborn wife more.
"Robin, I'm ok. Really. That thing you saw isn't a thermometer. It's.." Regina trailed off.
"Then what is it!?" Robin asked, starting to feel uneasy.
Regina moved closer to him, tiptoed, reached his ears and whispered something.
Suddenly, Robin's jaws dropped open. He pulled her away and looked at her face, eyes glistening with tears.
"Oh my god Regina! Are you serious? Am I?" Regina smiled sweetly at him and nodded.
"I love you Regina! Thank you! Thank God!"
Robin let out a shrill laugh and pulled her back again in his embrace.
"Err..Robin, Regina asked. "Are you sure you took a shower?"
- I guess tonight someone is not getint his s'more again tonight –
The end :)
