A Quick Frame
Starry
Author's Note: I don't own CSI. This is a one shot and I know it is not very long but it popped into my head and I thought I would share it with others. If anyone wants to develop the idea more, go ahead. All I ask is that you let me know.
This is a glance at a moment in a life. Art has a way of taking a glance at the world and seeing one moment in time and saving it until the end of time. For within a gallery there was a white wall. On this wall a small silver frame hung. And in the frame was one photo. Someone had captured a moment in time that they saw as special. It was a quiet room that held a picture so full of life. But that is what Las Vegas is, busy and full of activities. But this picture was the last one in the set. And for one woman it was a reminder of what once transpired: a home, a family, a life, a love, and a goodbye.
Never say that the memories don't completely fade in time. But for this woman it was a glance at the past. She did remember leaving, with the pain in her heart, but now looking at the pictures she could see that she made the right choice. Migrations are a natural part of life for most animals on the planet or so science tells us. The pictures on the wall of her old home could be found anywhere as long as you knew where to look. And for the first time she remembered that.
But time never stands still, and the brown haired woman moved on. She did not look back at the collection. She just walked out the door into the sun. Some say a picture says a thousand words, but how many words do you think that it said to her?
