*Tamiko's POV*
"Stir, stir, stir," I hummed to myself as I made a hearty pot of miso soup. On the side, I had an assorted lunch box for the one person in the house who couldn't stand miso. He stomped in, his orange hair flashing in the distance, and his brown eyes blazing with fury.
"Good afternoon, Kyo-Kun. Your boxed lunch is right there on the counter. I hope you'll like it. It's one-hundred percent leek-free." I smiled at him, and returned to my soup, and kept humming cheerfully.
"I'm not blind, Tamiko!" He snatched the box, and retreated to the sitting room.
Once the soup was finished I waited a bowl to each of the Sohmas who was home. I glanced at a dark haired, dainty-looking boy. He was very handsome, but he didn't have a lot to say. Kyo stayed away from him at all costs. I even knew that.
"Yuki-San, where's Shigure?" I asked one bowl left in my hand.
Yuki placed his spoon down, and wiped his mouth with a clean napkin. "Shigure is in his bedroom. He has a deadline on two novels."
I cocked my head to the side. "Should I bring him his supper? I mean, it'd be only proper."
The black and white haired Hatsuharu slurped his soup. "I'm sure Shigure would love that, you in your frilly apron, and short skirt. I'm sure you won't come back for about a decent hour." His voice was toneless, and monotonous, it almost pissed me off beyond compare. I just wanted to explode. Shigure was so much older than me. Why would the creep think like that?!
I rolled my eyes, and put the bowl down for a moment. I threw up my long, wavy dark brown hair, dark brown hair, and retrieved my soup. I made my way around the Sohma house, and found Shigure's room. I knocked on it lightly.
"Shigure-San?"
"Come in " Shigure sang.
I opened the door, and put the dish on his nightstand covered in papers. "Here's your supper. I was hoping you'd join us, but you had work to do so I brought you this. It's the least I could do," I rambled.
"Thank you, Tamiko. I have two deadlines, and they aren't doing me any justice," he chuckled, and picked up the dish. He probably did so, just so I would leave. I realized he wanted privacy, so I backed out, and shut the door behind me.
I joined the younger Sohmas, and ate with them.
"Hey, Haru-Chan! Tami came back in under an hour," a cute blonde male said.
Hatsuharu rolled his eyes halfheartedly. "I noticed. You don't have to tell me, Momiji."
I jolted up. "That reminds me. Where are the older members?
"Hatori, Ayame, Kureno, and Kagura are all at the main house," Yuki explained with a smile.
"Yeah! Their missing your great cooking Tami-Chan," Momiji said with enthusiasm.
"It's not that great," Kyo and Hatsuharu stated simultaneously.
I rolled my eyes and took their plates, almost tripping over the leg of the kotatsu in the sitting room.
I washed the dishes after dinner, and Momiji helped me dry them. I tried to avoid Haru when he became "black". It could be okay at times. But it really was split personality.
I retired to my bedroom early to read a whole bunch of manga. I knew that I loved it here, and all of the people.
