This is a one-word-prompt for ice-shredder. :3 I don't know why this was the first thing I thought of... but I'm so glad it was. XD
On with the story!
Ed blinked as he set foot off the train on his very first stop on his next journey. He didn't know the Western countries would be like this.
Even without his flashy clothes anymore, he stood out like a sore thumb among all the local folk.
"Everyone here is so... short!" He grinned upon realizing he was at least a head taller than just about everyone in the train station.
'This must be what it's like to be Major Armstrong.'
He'd thought he'd matured a little by now... but proved himself wrong by skipping and laughing throughout the sea of people.
"What a RUSH! I always want to be tall!"
"Watch where you're going!" he heard a man suddenly shout angrily at him. He paused and looked around at all the heads surrounding him and found the head that belonged to a ticked-off man. "What kind of person prances in a crowd like this anyway?!"
Ed suddenly wore a superior smirk. "Who cares what you think? You're SHORT!"
The man started fuming. "I'm not short, you're just a freaking giant!"
"HECK YEAH, I AM!" Ed wooped and continued dancing around in glee, enjoying the view above everyone else.
Okay, so you guys will know... I think I will indeed post the sequel to Family History. I'll probs start posting in about two weeks. It's still a work in progress, so please help me out, guys! I'll be asking random questions every once in a while to aid me in future chapters and I'll always be open to suggestions! Who knows if I'll actually finish it, but... if we're all enjoying and supporting each other's work, then that doesn't always matter. :3 (That's right, folks! I have pretty much ridden myself of my fear of failure to find an ending for the story!)
So- check up on the FMA archives for Visiting Homeland, the continuation of my current chapter-fic! :DDD
Happy Early Summer Break! K bai!
