Zacharie ran up to the ride excitedly, with an exasperated Batter closely behind him. They had been running around the amusement park for hours looking for one ride in particular. This ride was a rollercoaster. But not just any rollercoaster. This rollercoaster just so happened to be the one advertised on TV for weeks, the one everyone was talking about. It was called Alpha. A seemingly odd name for such a ride, until you realize that the ride goes through a loop that looks very similar to the rings Batter uses in battle. Zacharie was twiddling his fingers in anxious excitement; he was excited to go on the ride, but also nervous that his mask might fall off. Batter was very nervous, for he had never been on a roller coaster before. However, he had to look tough in front of Zacharie; he didn't want that prick to tease him.

After about a solid twenty-two minutes had passed, the two lovebirds were finally able to go on the ride together. Batter attempted to sit in the middle, but much to his dismay, Zacharie was already sitting in the front row. Batter nervously sat down next to his masked boyfriend. Zacharie turned to face him; only to see Batter biting his fingernails franticly. He ended up ripping skin off of his thumb, causing it to bleed a little. Zacharie tilted his head in curiosity. "You okay, amigo?" Batter sighed and tried his best to smile at Zacharie. "Yeah, I'm fine, just a little worried I might lose my hat on this ride," he said looking downwards. Zacharie turned his head away from Batter to look at the rest of the park. "Ah, I see," he said quietly. Batter could tell Zacharie wasn't fully convinced, but he decided to remain silent, in hopes the situation would go from awkward to enjoyable.

While the two were sitting in an uncomfortable silence, they failed to notice that the ride was about to start in a matter of seconds. The ride shot forward, causing Zacharie and Batter to sit up in a jolt. Zacharie grinned (under his mask, of course) and lifted his arms in the air. He was clearly having a blast. Meanwhile, Batter was using all of his willpower to prevent vomiting like the fricking Exorcist. The ride seemed to be going faster and faster, to the point Batter had to hold tight onto his hat to make sure it wouldn't fly away. Batter closed his eyes; this rollercoaster seemed to last forever. Finally, the ride jerked to a halt. The two sat up. Batter's knees felt like gelatin. Zacharie, on the other hand, was yelling about how he wanted to go on it again. Batter quickly ran away, with Zacharie chasing after him.
