Some love are fated. Others are cursed.
Prologue
The rain dripping off the brim of Yuka's best black hat. My bare knees hitting the thick mud in front of the grave.
That was Izumi Sakura's funeral.
I could remember the details as if it happened yesterday, even though it's hard to believe some of it had happened at all. The important parts you blocked out together, but the random, slanted moments haunted you, replaying over and over in your mind.
What I could remember: Izumi held out his hand as we headed to the nearby ice-cream cart halted at the side of the road. As the light turned red, we stopped, and waited for the lights to turn back green. It was just then that it happened. Everything was in slow motion. A car out of control was heading to our direction. I was shocked, yet frightened. An attempt to protect me, my father pushed me aside and let him took the hit. I cried out to him as the vehicle hit a lamp post. His last words will be haunting in my mind forever. "Mikan, I love you."
"Dad.." I whispered, my mind was a complete blank. I stole a glance at my mom as she remained silence. I knew she was just as depressed as I am.
"Mikan, let's go." She said, as she turned around and walked away. I stood up and giving my dad's gravestone a final glance.
"Goodbye, dad."
Cheesy - Intense, drama. That's what most of you are thinking right now, am I correct? This is just a small project I am working on right now. I'm not sure if I should continue this story, so leave a review?
I'll try to update my other stories if I have got the time.
Sayonara! /Poof away.
