The Insecure Island

When you come near to the end of a book series, something always comes out being great. The villain is captured, and all of the characters celebrate by going out for ice cream. Well, unfortunately, this is not the case with the Baudelaires. As I have said before, these books start out unpleasant, have few good things in the middle, and more misery at the end. In fact, barely anything great is in this book. This story takes place on a place I haven't visited in a very long time. In fact, I never want to see that place again.

The Baudelaires were miserable. They were stranded on an island. Their submarine had wrecked during a storm, and they landed on an island. Luckily, the Quagmires were with them on the island. They had someone to talk to during this time of despair. The Quagmires had found them at a cave near the Mortmain Mountains, and they found a submarine to travel to Hotel Denouement.

Violet was trying to invent a sort of boat out of the submarine, so that they could travel to Hotel D?nouement. Klaus was looking at the different plants on the island to see if they were edible, in case they ran out of food. He found some bananas and oranges. Isadora and Duncan were trying to assist the Baudelaires, and Quigley was trying to find out were they were.

"It's useless. We are never getting off of this stupid island, are we?" Isadora yelled in fury.

"Actually, the boat I'm making will be done in a few days, and then we could get out of this place," Violet said, "But in the meantime, why don't some of you try to see what else is on this island."

"Yeah, that's a great idea! How about the rest of you go look, and I'll help Violet out on the ship," Quigley told the others.

The rest of them decided to look at the rest of the island, but as they were leaving, Duncan mumbled, "Violet was supposed to be my girlfriend. Why should he be alone with her?" According to my research, that question was never answered.

They were gone for about an hour, and while they were gone, Quigley and Violet talked about stuff.

They talked about how their lives were like before their houses burned down, how stuff is now, and what was going to happen once everything had cooled down. On that day, Quigley and Violet were officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
