Hello
Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter, or this Evanescence song.
Playground school bell rings again,
Rain clouds come to play again.
Ron held Ginny's lifeless body in his arms, shaking her despairingly, trying to wake her. Silent tears began to steam down his face.
Has no one told you she's not breathing?
Soon Ron's body began to shake uncontrollably, tears flowing down his face in an onslaught of anger and despair.
Hello, I'm your mind giving you someone to talk to.
The battle had finally come and ended, taking the precious life of his sister. She lay in his arms lifeless, and he sat there clutching her to his chest as if to pass his own life into her.
Hello.
It had been a week since the final battle, and Ron could not get the image of finding his sister dead on the battle field out of his mind. They were now lowering her body into the ground and every one around him was grieving their loss of a friend or family member.
If I smile and don't believe,
Hermione was standing beside Ron with silent tears rolling down her checks, but she noticed Ron just standing there as if this was some sort of dream. She looked into his eyes, and, for the first time in her life, she saw nothing.
Soon I know I'll wake from this dream.
Hermione nudged Ron in the side to get his attention.
"Hey Ron, are you okay? You don't seem yourself." Hermione half sobbed, she had loved Ginny, but Ron had always shown some sort of emotion, and now… now he was…. What was he? He was dead inside. Hermione had never expected this sort of reaction from Ron, But then again Ron had kept to himself after he'd found Ginny, dead.
"Hermione, I'm watching my sister being buried. How am I supposed to seem, happy?"
"Ron that's not what I meant…"
For Ron, Hermione's voice just faded into the background with everything else.
Don't try to fix me I'm not broken.
Again Ron began to relive the memory of finding his sister, dead.
Hello I'm the lie living for you so you can hide.
Tears began to slowly make their way down his face.
Don't cry.
As if he was waking up from a dream, Ron slowly began to realize that, as the dirt had begun to be thrown onto his sisters casket, that Ginny was dead, and there was no way he could ever bring her back.
Suddenly I know I'm not sleeping,
Hello I'm still here,
All he could do now was remember her and carry on his love for her in his heart.
All that's left of yesterday.
