For 'The Snakes and Ladders' challenge over at HPFC. The character I recieved was Bill Weasley, I found this sort of tricky but I did my best with the idea I came up with. Reviews would be much appreciated, whether it be positive or negative... enjoy! :)
The battle was over, Voldemort was gone forever and the bodies of the dead lay strewn across the grounds of the castle and the Great Hall. As Bill walked up towards the castle passing them all his heart began to race and his walk quickened to a jog and then a sprint. Please let my family be okay he thought to himself as he raced towards the Great Hall, tripping over bodies on the way. He reached the castle and stepped inside. All over the Great Hall were row upon row of bodies, some female some male, some young some old. They're not dead; they're just asleep he told himself so that he wouldn't have a mental breakdown right there and then. He spotted his family at the far end of the hall and stopped dead in his tracks. His mother, father, brothers and sister were huddled around a body but one person was missing; Fred. He raced towards them looking at the faces of the dead as he passed; there was Lupin, Tonks, Colin, Lavender and many others he did not recognise. Once at his family he looked down and there laid Fred. He's not dead; he's just asleep he kept repeating to himself but he knew it was now use, he'd lost one of his younger brothers and there was going to be no replacement to the hole it left in his heart.
