Hi everyone and welcome to my very first Gravitation story! This story is going to be kind of weird, kind of funny, kind of angsty, and a lot of crazy. I came up with this through several dreams so I thought I would finally write it. This is just the prologue. I hope to get the first chapter up soon as school allows me. I know this is short but I promise the actual chapters will be much longer. Please review and let me know what you think! ~Kyo~

The clock ticked. Minutes turned into hours. Blonde hair waved back and forth from the breeze coming through the open window. A soft snore escaped him. It was peaceful day outside. The sun was shining brightly. Spring time. A time for new. A time for change. Violet eyes opened slowly. The sight was blurry at first but soon he was able to focus. White walls surrounded him. He could feel a breeze coming through the room. Looking around he noticed the blonde man sleeping peacefully in the chair across from the bed he currently occupied in.
He wanted to call out to the man. He wanted to know where he was and he was doing there. He wanted to know why that man was even there with him. He focused in on him; his eyes sweeping over his face trying to think of any idea of who he was. His throat felt heavy and scratchy. A coughing fit overtook him and he felt like he couldn't breathe. Golden eyes opened immediately upon hearing the sound. Eiri jumped from his position of sleeping in the hospital chair and rushed his brat's side.
He quickly rushed to small water fountain in the room and poured some water into a small plastic cup, carrying it quickly back the young man that lay in the bed. He helped the boy to sit up and to drink the contents from the cup. Soon the coughing died down and Eiri smiled. A real smile for the first time in two weeks. Shuichi was awake after all this time and nothing could change the relief that Eiri felt.
"I'm sorry but, who are you? Do I know you?" Violet eyes looked up at the blonde man with wonder.
Eiri caught his breath as his little lover spoke those horrifying words. Shuichi didn't remember him? That wasn't possible. He wouldn't accept that. He had stayed by Shuichi's side day after day in hopes that he might wake up and they would be able to go home together. Forget the awful events of the past two months and continue on with their lives with each other, a happy family. Now it seemed that dream had turned into a nightmare. His brat didn't even know his name.
"You really don't remember me, Shu? I'm Eiri. You're Shuichi."
Shuichi stared up at him with a confused look that only made Eiri feel even sadder. Suddenly a smile lit Shuichi's face. He had a name and that made him very happy, even if he couldn't remember anything just yet.
"Shuichi. And you're Eiri. Why am I here Eiri? What happened to me?"
Eiri looked on at Shuichi with tear filled eyes as he remembered what caused Shuichi to be in the state he was in now. The events that made Eiri think he had almost lost Shuichi forever. Or maybe, he already had.
