"How did she…..Socorro come down from there!" Miguel begged his sister rushing over to catch her should she fall.

"Your name sake is causing quite the trouble coco." Hector told his daughter humorously watching the scene unfold before them. "Very I'd presume she gets that from you." Imelda added in smiling softly.

"Socorro get down!" Miguel shouted again getting rather worried. It took a few moments but finally Socorro looked over at him. "Wha….." She asked aloud looking down at her brother. "Please get down from there. You'll end up hurting yourself real bad if you slip and fall." Miguel begged her.

"Oh I know that look all too well." Hector said shaking his head a bit amused. His own coco gave him that look when she was up to something, didn't always mean it was a bad thing at all. "What are you even doing up there? It's the day of the dead. You should be down here. With your family." Miguel said grabbing a latter to climb up to the roof and just see what his sister was even doing.

"Are those……" Miguel began then stopped. "You said to decorate everything I see so I am." Socorro said innocently Enough. Miguel chuckled softly slightly relieved she had only placed some alebrijes figurines and some food up here to eat. "Who's this for?" Miguel asked softly. "The Alebrijes. They need food too you know." Socorro said firmly making Miguel snicker some.

"Not funny! There animals and animals need food too. Same for water." Socorro said firmly crossing her arms in a pout. "No I'm not laughing because it's funny. I'm laughing because it's adorable." Miguel said softly.

"Ah animal lover." Hector commented as Miguel managed to get Socorro down. "Where have you two been? I've been worried sick." "Sorry mama we were just playing is all." Miguel said keeping the roof incident out of it. His mother would have a heart attack if she found Socorro on the roof again. "Look at you you're a mess." "Sorry mama." Socorro said innocently whipping her hands off on her skirt.

"It's fine. Miguel go help your sister wash up." "Yes mama." Miguel said helping Socorro along to the bathroom. "Promise not to tell." Socorro said innocently as Miguel helped to wash her hands and face. "I promise. Just no more climbing onto roofs okay." "But that's the only way Pepita and Danté can get the food. They fly you know." Socorro said softly. "Of all the things you remember it just had to be about those alebrijes." He mumbled softly drying her face off and sending her off to their mama.

"Ah there's my sweet little girl." Socorro giggled softly staying relatively close to her mama's side for the rest of the evening.

"That one's going to be quite the troublemaker when she's older." Imelda said grabbing her daughter's hand. "Yes She is." Hector said smiling fondly at the child. His eyes lit up some when a small hand waved at him throw an open window and then blew a kiss.

"And it appears Miguel isn't the only one to see us. Hector said waving back to her before her grabbed his daughter's opposite hand. The trio made the trip back to the land of the dead, quite pleased at how Socorro was growing up.
